How it Works: Morning and afternoon sessions are offered through the days of the week, and children are grouped into sessions according to their age. Each session meets one time per week. We are currently enrolling one-year olds for Fridays! The location of where each group meets rotates between the group members' homes each week. Parents are not required to stay at home while the session is taking place in their house. This is, after all, a great chance for Mom or Dad to get out of the house, too! Each week there will be exciting curriculum for your child to learn through a fun and stimulating approach, including arts and crafts, story time, music, outside play, and more! I will bring all of the materials and supplies needed to create an enjoyable learning environment for your child. Next-Door Discoveries LLC complies with state licensing regulations.

Experience silence and new communication experiences while you take mini-workshops conducted at beginning, intermediate, or advanced levels. If you are a student of sign and/or IEP programs, special education teacher, parent with deaf and hard-of-hearing children, supervisor who works with deaf and hard-of-hearing employees, community volunteer, interpreter, or person interested in improved communication with the deaf and hard-of-hearing, you will benefit from this retreat! At the end of the weekend you will realize a deeper understanding of the "silent" experience. No matter what level you are, you are welcome! Weekend begins Friday at 6pm and continues until Sunday at noon. Detailed information about the weekend will be sent via email after registering. This event does fill up. All testing is individualized, based upon the presenting issues, and also includes screenings for learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression and behavior issues. Our professional, one-on-one approach can quickly address classroom struggles and identify personalized solutions and accommodations to keep the student on track for success. We are available for after school and weekend testing to accommodate your busy schedule.
