It's all here at the Museum of Prairiefire. Through a unique collaboration with the American Museum of Natural History, as well as with other cultural and educational institutions in the Kansas City area, the Museum of Prairiefire will create a place to understand and celebrate natural history and culture in our region and around the world. The Museum will engage visitors and area students with world-class exhibitions, important programming, and significant educational opportunities.
The Venue in Leawood is our newest venture. It is an Event and Meeting Center located in Leawood with 11,000 sq ft inside space (2 multipurpose rooms) and 2,000 sq ft patio. It is an open cater facility with a fully equipped kitchen, state of the arts AV equipment and a bride suite. Come by next time you are in KC for a tour. Cheers, Julian
Our goal is to make your special event as stress-free as possible! We have many wonderful event packages that can be tailored to your specific needs. Set-up and tear-down of your event are included in your rental—one less thing to worry about on your big day! In addition to outdoor facilities, we have three indoor spaces available. The Sunset Room can accommodate 240 people, The Seasons Room can accommodate 150 people, and The Lakeview Room can accommodate 30. We are able to rent out multiple rooms for events if needed.
