The Tallgrass Tap House is an 11,000-square-foot brewpub located at 320 Poyntz Ave. in the historic, revitalized downtown district of Manhattan, Kansas. Blending a modern, comfortable aesthetic with rustic accents, the Tap House has indoor seating for 260 and outdoor seating for 60 on a rooftop deck overlooking downtown toward the Flint Hills. At the core of the Tap House is a 10-barrel brewhouse that produces a rotating lineup of a half-dozen craft brews featured on tap alongside Tallgrass Brewing Company’s year-round varieties and seasonals.

4 Olives Restaurant and Wine Bar opened in July of 2004 with such culinary specialties as: ultra-fresh fish, wild game, local ingredients, and artisan cheeses. The ambiance of the restaurant can be described as upscale contemporary, the dining rooms surrounds two large glass wine caves. The featured style of cuisine is a Contemporary Mediterranean-American menu with Pacific influences, emphasized by extremely fresh, made-to-order items. Every item is made in house. Our desserts are prepared by our talented pastry chef, and Scott’s wife, Rachel Benjamin. The bar menu consists of well-crafted, classic cocktails using house-made ingredients, fresh juices and premium spirits. With over 500 fine spirits, 60 beers, and 800 wines which are kept in our temperature controlled, glass wine cave, 40 of which are also served by the glass, and kept using the Bermar Wine Preservation System. Prix Fixe Menus are available on the weekends.
Moore Hall is a co-ed residence hall at Kansas State University. It is located on the East side of Kansas State's Manhattan, Kansas campus in the North-West corner of the Derby Complex, north of West Hall and west of Haymaker Hall. It is known for its Leadership Studies and Business cluster floors. After the end of the Spring semester, students typically move out of the halls, but Moore provides residency for year-round students along with Haymaker Hall. Some return to live there another year while others move on to live off-campus or in fraternities and sororities.HistoryIt was named after Dean Helen Moore, the first Dean of Women at Kansas State University.In 2005, Moore was paired with Marlatt Hall for homecoming and the pairing was the overall champion in the residence hall division.Moore has a refurnished lobby with plenty of seating, tables, an aquarium, and computers. Locked Manhattan is the first escape room adventure in Manhattan, Kansas. We are focused on providing an unforgettable adventure for all of our players. Our escape rooms are intricately designed through countless hours of research and planning. We are thrilled to be able to present a challenging, fun, and unique form of entertainment to Downtown Manhattan. The idea behind escape room games is placing you and your friends in a locked room which is filled with puzzles that will lead to your hopeful escape. You have one hour to investigate the room, piece together clues, and solve puzzles in order to find your way out. Escape rooms have grown in popularity worldwide and we are proud to bring Locked Manhattan to the downtown area. Locked Manhattan was created by Zachary Droge and Rebecca Ober who enjoy the adrenaline rush of puzzle solving, escape room games. While spending a summer in the city of San Fransisco, they discovered the wonderful world of escape rooms. It is their pleasure to bring a new form of escape room to the city of Manhattan, Kansas with a strong focus on story immersion and "logic adrenaline." In March of 2016, 4 new partners: Ryan & Cortney Ley, Ethan Tegethoff, and Jessica Parr joined Locked Manhattan. All six partners are focused on bringing new things to our brand allowing "Locked" to accelerate to a new level. We will be expanding into Wichita, Kansas in the Summer of 2016, and have 2 new rooms under construction at our Manhattan, KS, location.
Featuring Downtown Manhattan’s 13th Annual Weenie Dog Races, where Dachshunds get to strut their stuff! And featuring the All-Breeds Rescue on the Runway Fashion Show! This unique event draws participants from all over Kansas and the surrounding states. It's a great time for everyone to come downtown with their dog, socialize with other dogs and dog owners and watch the races, demonstrations and all-breed dog contests as well as shop for unique pet goods. Tons of vendors, tons of freebies and of course, tons of doggie love!
