Community Boat Building, founded in 2007, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring real world experience and academic skills together to build not only a traditional boat, but also excitement around learning among low-income students in Boston Public Schools. CBB has been working with Boston Public schools for over 6 years to provide students with boat building skills, on-the-water experiences, history research and oral presentations, swim lessons, rowing skills, hands-on science activities, and travel/camping/sailing experiences. Boat building develops a variety of skills, enhancing and connecting skills learned in the classroom with real world experience. Each school year CBB introduces 100 fourth and fifth grade students to the accessibility and wonders of Boston Harbor while reinforcing core academic subjects--math, science, social studies, and literacy so that experiential learning becomes an integrated part of the student’s education, bridging urban life and natural life to strengthen learning and community.

Boston Sea Lightning Speedboat Adventure, the newest and most exciting thrill ride on Boston Harbor. Feel the raw power, speed, wind and excitement on Boston’s Sea Lightning Speedboat. Climb aboard and get ready for an exciting 60 minutes tour of Boston’s historic waterfront. Once we clear the no wake zone, it’s time to pick up the speed, blast the music and have some FUN. Boston Sea Lightning will navigate its way to JFK Library and Fort Independence while passing many of the small islands that dot Boston harbor. On our return, enjoy the many historical harbor sites such as the Nantucket Light Ship, the USS Constitution, Tea Party Ship and Museum and the amazing Boston skyline. It’s a perfect balance of speed and sightseeing. It’s PURE Exhilarating FUN.
The Boston Harbor Latin Cruises have been the most anticipated entertainment of the summer since 2003. Nothing compares to this three level party on the water. The top floor is a peaceful outdoor deck with stunning skyline views of the city and sunset. There is Latin dancing on two floors and the boat features a full cash bar. Traditional delicious Latin food is available for only $12 a plate in advance ($14 at the dock) and includes slow roasted pork, rice and beans, chicken and vegetables and salad. The Friday cruises are 21+, the Sunday cruises are all ages. Tickets can be purchased online or at a ticket outlet for $25 in advance or at the dock for $30. The 4th of July tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the dock. Boarding begins at 7:00/7:30, please do not be late! We depart at 8:00 on the dot, no exceptions. The boat returns to the harbor at 10:30 and from there everyone heads to Mojitos. The first 100 people to arrive at Mojitos with their cruise ticket stub will receive free admission to Mojitos. The party continues until 2:00.

Boston Food Tours reflects Michele Topor's passion for all things culinary. Trained as a professional chef, Michele has taught cooking, catered, and consulted on Italian food since 1979. Michele's cooking classes, market tours and culinary trips to Italy have been featured on television, on the Travel Channel, TV Food Network, HGTV and CNN, on the radio, and in various national and international publications. Michele initially designed the North End Market Tour in 1994 to introduce cooking class participants to her neighborhood and sources for authentic ingredients. In 2006 the Chinatown Market Tour was added to acquaint her audience to yet another of the city's colorful ethnic enclaves. Most tours are led by Michele's personally trained assistants (guides) who have been selected for their enthusiasm, personality, cooking background and professional experience. We are proud to share our knowledge and discoveries with you.
