Outside the Lens is dedicated to a future where all youth will have the access and education necessary to understand, evaluate and, most importantly, create media. Through photography, videography and digital media, youth become engaged learners and active participants in the classroom, their communities and ultimately the world.
Hello! We are Chris and Jordan, husband and wife wedding photographers. We are crazy about good food, amazing technology, our delightfully spoiled cats, and people in love. When we got married, we decided to make our lives a creative story that we would be proud of when we are old and gray. This has driven us to explore our passions and step out of our comfort zones to see what we could do with our world. Along the way, we realized that photographing others stories was part of what made our own story unique. We love people and getting to tell their stories. We believe each person has a unique story to tell, and nothing inspires us more than helping couples celebrate and capture that uniqueness with a photograph. We strive to make the photography of your day a memorable and fun experience in itself; after all, we’re the ones that are with you almost all day long! We love to capture hearty laughs, genuine smiles, and those secret looks when no one is watching. We live for being out in the warm afternoon sunlight, letting the sun peek through the tall trees that offers the perfect glow around a newly engaged couple. We explore new places with people, finding backdrops and unique settings that fit each couple perfectly. Creating art from those special moments of your story is part of our story.
