Paul G. Allen’s Living Computer Museum celebrates the past of computing and brings vintage systems to life. The museum, which features a rare collection of mainframes and data processors from the early days of computers, is focused on interactive time-sharing systems. These systems from the 1970s let multiple users work on them at the same time and helped shape the open and accessible information society of today. Visitors to the museum will learn the history of the systems, see vintage machines up close, and find out more about our restoration work. Through the museum website, users can set up a free online account and access old systems.

Parts of the museum's collections are viewable through its online database. There is an oral history lab inside the museum for staff and public use.ExhibitsThe Wing houses temporary and permanent exhibitions related to Asian American history, art, and cultures. The museum represents over 26 ethnic groups. The museum uses a community-based exhibition model to create exhibits. As part of the community-based process, the museum conducts outreach into communities to find individuals and organizations to partner with.
