In 2002 MNN had two satellite facilities: one on the Lower East Side, a partnership with the Downtown Community Television Center, one of the city's oldest community media centers; and another in East Harlem, a partnership with PRdream.com, also known as MediaNoche, the city's oldest new media gallery based in a community. The relationship with PRdream/MediaNoche ended in 2006. MNN reopened a smaller, temporary operation in an East Harlem, basement storefront on Lexington Avenue.
The CBS Building in New York City, also known as Black Rock, is the headquarters of CBS Corporation. Located at 51 West 52nd Street at the corner of Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas), the Eero Saarinen-designed building opened in 1965. It is 38 stories and 490ft tall with approximately 872000sqft rentable of space. The interior and furnishings were designed by Saarinen and Florence Knoll.BackgroundThe building was the result of intricate planning between Eero Saarinen and CBS's then-president, Frank Stanton. Its concrete structural system was developed by Mario Salvadori. Unlike some major skyscrapers built in that section of midtown Manhattan during the 1950s and 60s, its pillars are more dominant than its windows. It received its nickname "Black Rock" for its dark granite cladding. The company moved to its new headquarters from longterm lease space at 485 Madison Avenue at 52nd Street. Prior to the building's completion, CBS moved its radio network studios—the CBS News network radio studios on the 17th floor of 485 Madison and other studios across the street in the CBS Studio Building—to the CBS Broadcast Center on 57th Street starting in 1964. The TV news studios, based mostly at the Graybar Building at Grand Central Terminal, also moved to the Broadcast Center around that period of time, starting with the CBS Evening News studio-newsroom in 1963.
Strong local agencies resonate globally. We believe the strongest global networks have the strongest local agencies because consumers connect, consume and commit to brands locally. At the same time, we are organically connected and have the structures, processes and culture that make collaboration across the network and global marketing effective. Y&R’s global boutique is rooted in the way we built and expanded the agency — organically, driven by client need, led by local talent. Our agencies have the authenticity of their local roots and are empowered to be the best in their market. All our agencies add up to something greater than the sum of their parts, however. We are united by our vision and mission and by our values. By common tools and resources. We are connected by shared technology. In the end, we believe this positioning helps us create work that has culturally relevant insights and creative, market by market. But we also have the ability to bring the full force of the global network to bear on every brand and every assignment. No matter where you are, no matter where you do business around the world, the Y&R name stands for the same level of commitment, excellence, entrepreneurial spirit — and, most important, results.

Rise fellow fans. It is time to stand up and demand a new breed of competition. For too long, we have watched the same games. For too long, we have played by the same rules. For too long, we have remained passive, satisfied with only the power to cheer for our team. That time is now behind us. In the Colosseum Games, fans control the action, change the game, and push the gladiators to fight tooth and nail for victory. Our athletes will be tested under new rules in an unfamiliar arena. Adaptation will guide strength, endurance, and agility down the road to victory. When the dust settles, the winners will add ranks in their quest to achieve the ultimate champion class. The losers will fall to the mercy of the fans: thumbs up - they live to fight another day, thumbs down - they are excommunicated from the games forever. Your vote, your choice, your game. It's time to make history. Welcome to the Colosseum Games.
