The Suite Bistro has spent the past few years setting itself apart as a restaurant and lounge with a reputation for being high-energy and a lot of fun. We've decided to continue that tradition for fun and innovation by expanding our activity calendar to include Dance Classes as well as Wine & Paint classes. Come join us either night for an evening of fun, food, wine, and just a touch of education, provided by two very friendly, competent, and enthusiastic instructors! Our in-house Dance instructor, the one and only Michelle Ordes, is an extremely talented dancer and an award-winning dance instructor, certified in Ballroom and Latin dancing with a specialization in Social dancing. Her classes start at 7:00 on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, but she'll be here as early as 6:30 if you feel you need a little one-on-one time. The dance techniques Michelle teaches per lesson are based on a weekly rotation, so if you miss a class, don't feel too bad...next week will be totally different and you haven't been left behind. The cost is $10 per lesson, which is a winner no matter which way you look at it, and will also leave you plenty of spare change for our 1/2 Price Bottles Of Wine offered every Thursday evening. So come get tipsy and take your partner for a spin; Michelle will help you every step of the way. If you've got more left feet than you'd like, or just feel like getting your hands dirty is more up your alley, our Wine&Paint classes will appeal to the inner Picasso in anyone. The class is taught by The Suite's own Garrett Brantz, a talented painter, artist, and waiter who is easily recognizable by his bandana, hat, and paint-stained fingers. He has spent the past few years working as an artist while attending art school, and makes up for his lack of experience with a talented touch and affable nature. Classes start at 6:30 on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, and each class takes roughly 2-1/2 to 3 hours, as Garrett shows you detailed step-by-step instructions to create the week's sample painting. If you feel like switching up the current painting's color scheme, or just want to do something completely different, don't worry! Garrett has been well-trained in color theory and technique, and would be more than willing to help you with your endeavors. The cost is $30 a person, which includes access to our serve-yourself Wine Bar, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and all the paint, canvas, and instructions that you will need to come away with a souvenir that you've created yourself and is entirely unique! Space is limited in both of these activities, and anybody who RSVPs for a class won't be left with nothing to do on a weekday evening!
