Town Danceboutique is the largest gay danceclub in Washington, D.C. It is a combination of a cabaret performance space, a plush lounge, and a high energy danceclub. There are two floors, multiple rooms, an outside smoking area, an amazing video installation, state of the art LED lighting, and multiple dancefloors and seating areas. Your club experience at Town will consist of multiple performance oriented productions...Extensive drag shows that feature big production numbers, comedy sketches and amazing outfits...Our own in house dance troupe performing multiple choreographed routines...The Friday night go-go boys...Surprise performance artists...and nationally recognized performers and djs. In addition, we have even combined the hottest current lighting and special effects that, when added to our enormous video installation, provide spectacular visual excitement all night. Our expansive 4000 square foot outdoor space is a remarkably unique, comfortable, and amazingly appointed outdoor full service bar serving drinks six days a week. Choose from the multiple draft beer selections, fully stocked bar, (and, coming soon, the on premise food truck with it’s service window right on the Patio.) The Patio's landscaping and bar design provides relief on hotter days...and multiple heating units make it comfortable on cooler nights. In addition to landscaping that includes Crepe Myrtle and Japanese Elm trees, we have designed the space using re-purposed, 100 year old barn wood from the midwest and 100 year old ceiling beams that were salvaged from the newly renovated Chocolate Factory downtown. We are open during the week for happy hour and evening drinks, at 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays for daytime fun in the sun, and of course, the Patio is open on Friday and Saturday nights to create an even more dynamic, multi-faceted experience at Town - now, a night at Town Danceboutique will mean seeing an amazing drag show, dancing to the hottest music by the best djs, seeing the newest music videos, and a relaxing escape of late night drinking and socializing under the stars. The Patio is open Monday - Friday at 5pm and at 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays. There is no cover to enter the Patio directly (though, access to the Patio on Friday and Saturday nights after 10pm will be through Town and you will have to pay the normal cover to enter Town).
