Rhodes Memorial Hall, commonly known as Rhodes Hall, is a historic house located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It was built as the home of furniture magnate Amos Giles Rhodes, proprietor of Atlanta-based Rhodes Furniture. The Romanesque Revival house occupies a prominent location on Peachtree Street, the main street of Atlanta, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It is open to the public and has been the home of The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation since 1983.InspirationRhodes Hall is a Romanesque Revival 9000sqft house inspired by the Rhineland castles that Rhodes admired on a trip to Europe in the late 1890s. Architect Willis F. Denny designed the unique home with Stone Mountain granite, incorporating medieval Romanesque, Victorian, and Arts and Crafts designs as well as necessary adaptations for an early 20th-century home. After two years of construction, the house was completed in 1904.Victorian architectureKnown as Le Rêve, Rhodes Hall is one of the finest intact expressions of late Victorian architectural design in Atlanta. The grandest feature of the interior is a magnificent series of stained and painted glass windows that rise above a carved mahogany staircase. The three-panel series depicts the rise and fall of the Confederacy from Fort Sumter to Appomattox, and includes medallion portraits of over a dozen Confederates.

The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival (AJFF) is a showcase of international cinema that broadly explores themes of identity, history and culture. The annual festival was founded in the year 2000 by the Atlanta Regional Office of American Jewish Committee (AJC), a global advocacy organization that enhances the wellbeing of the Jewish people and Israel through education, outreach and diplomacy. Through the power and shared experience of cinematic storytelling, AJC and AJFF foster stronger bonds within the Jewish community, and intergroup relations with Atlanta's diverse cultural, ethnic and religious communities. The inaugural edition of the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival welcomed some 1,900+ filmgoers. That number grew to more than 7,500 by 2006, the same year that AJFF received a prestigious grant from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). The following year, AJFF began an aggressive expansion of dates and venues, seating some 15,000 by 2008. In 2010, AJFF celebrated its tenth birthday with a concert of iconic Jewish film scores, presented in partnership with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Turner Classic Movies. Attendance reached 20,000 by the end of the first decade, and continued growing to over 30,000 moviegoers in the years that followed. By this time, AJFF was exhibiting some 70 narrative and documentary features and shorts, running for 23 days across a half dozen venues throughout metro Atlanta. Already Atlanta's single largest film festival, AJFF made history in 2015 to become the largest Jewish film festival in the world, attracting more than 38,600 moviegoers. Today, AJFF is an independent non-profit arts organization that continues an active partnership with its founding agency, American Jewish Committee.

We're a collective of some of the most awesomely talented people in Atlanta... plus a few robots and a dog. We create. We produce. We edit. We animate. Not necessarily in that order, but not NOT necessarily in that order. We do it all and we do it well...like super-good-funky-cool well. Call us creative. Call us fun. Call us crazy. Just don't call us a post-house... we die a little inside every time that happens.

FarringtonDesignGroup strives to incorporate the principles of sustainable design into every design project. The goal of this philosophy is to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Utilizing sustainable design principles encourages decisions at each phase of the design process to reduce negative impacts on the environment and the health and comfort of the building occupants, without compromising the budget parameters. We employ the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System design criteria to help institute sustainable design into our projects. This process ensures that sustainable strategies are considered in each stage of development and serves as a means of evaluating our green building achievements. Our intention is to integrate these principles of sustainability as seamlessly as possible, and furthermore achieve the optimal balance of environmental, cost, productivity and human benefits. We use a team approach to organize and manage design projects. Each team member is carefully selected based on his or her experience, talents and abilities to best serve our client. Using our most senior professionals available, the project team is assigned at the outset and is responsible for seeing the project through completion. FarringtonDesignGroup credits the success and reputation we enjoy to our ability to maintain continuity in our project team assignments and to the personal attention and service we provide.
