The purpose of the Association shall be to encourage and promote closer communications among alumni and friends with the University, to help the University serve its members more quickly and efficiently, and to enable its members to serve the University in its continual growth and development as well as to become the best alumni association among public universities.

All units furnished with a refrigerator and microwave. Units can be furnished for an additional fee. We are located within 5 blocks of UNA's Campus. The Office of International Affairs provides support services to the international students and scholars at the University of North Alabama. OIA posts specifically for international students at UNA. Watch for announcements about immigration; academic, TOEFL and fee payment deadlines; cultural and social happenings on campus and within walking distance; plus photos of international students involved on campus.
The Department of Entertainment Industry is a stand-alone department in the College of Arts and Sciences. It is an outgrowth of the interdisciplinary Entertainment Industry Center and was formed in January, 2009 to address an increasingly diverse entertainment industry and serve students better. The Alabama Commission on Higher Education (ACHE) approved the new degree program with two options in its June, 2010 meeting. The department moved to a new facility in Downtown Florence on Tombigbee Street in Fall, 2012. This new facility houses departmental and faculty offices, recording studio, MIDI lab, classrooms and a 450 capacity fully outfitted performance venue.

Baptist Campus Ministries is open to all students, not just Baptist, and YOU ARE WELCOME! Just come and participate. No “membership” is involved. The center has ping pong, a pool table, TV/game room, living room, study, coffee/snack room… “It’s a home away from home!”
Overview The Young Alumni Lion Leaders (Y’ALL) is a group of UNA Alumni who work with the Office of Alumni Relations to promote and support alumni programming. The purpose of Y’ALL is to actively seek the involvement of alumni who have graduated in the last ten years. The primary mission of Y’ALL is to advocate for the needs of young alumni and foster young alumni programming. We are looking for three main qualities in our selection process of new Y’ALL members: 1) a deep passion for the University of North Alabama, 2) a desire and understanding to give back of time and resources to UNA, and 3) a well-rounded professional and individual. We are dedicated to recruiting diverse and exceptional individuals and believe UNA is a quality institution offering exciting opportunities to all alumni, as well as current students. Y’ALL will assist the Office of Alumni Relations in the implementation, promotion, and participation of alumni programming. Participation in Y’ALL requires a certain time commitment. Attendance at UNA events is encouraged to increase the experience of being a member of Y’ALL and to assist the Alumni Relations Office. Along with meetings, it is strongly encouraged that Y’ALL members participate in young alumni programming, events, and alumni programming in general. General Description: Assist in the programming for young alumni on behalf of the University of North Alabama. Specific Responsibilities: • Assist the Office of Alumni Relations in creating and implementing young alumni programming • Support the programs and initiatives of the Office of Alumni Relations • Support the programs and initiatives of the UNA Alumni Association • Work to increase the visibility and vitality of UNA and the Alumni Association • Increase the visibility of the Alumni Association to current UNA students (Future Alumni) • Assist the Office of Alumni Relations with identifying young alumni that are interested in becoming involved or can meet a need of the Alumni Office • Set a leadership example by making a gift, no matter the amount, to UNA.
