Our goal is to help restore dignity, pride and positive self esteem in children. Through annual events and ongoing initatives, we give to the children of our community in a multitude of ways. We provide luggage and other transitional items to children who have to move from place to place including foster care placements, hospital settings, homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, or other safe homes. We also assist children during the holiday season by holding toy drives which directly benefit the children of our community. Our team hand delivers toys during the holiday season, including on Christmas Morning. We are honored you have chosen to visit Angels Take Flight. CACC is one of Massachusetts' oldest car clubs. Founded in an era when the car hobby was being "demonized" by the print and film media, Crankers was formed to present a responsible image of the collector car hobbyist to the general public. Crankers is a 501 (c) 3 registered non-profit charity and a family oriented organization, whose member goal is to support community charities and promote the classic car hobby. Monies raised by the various functions we promote throughout the season are directed to local charities such as the Shriners, The Lions Club, Children's Hospital, Toys for Tots, The Salvation Army, etc.

CHD Foster Care provides a variety of models to meet the needs of children entering the foster care system. All of CHD’s foster care programs provide therapeutic services and supports in a family-based placement. The programs receive referrals for children and youth who are transitioning from a residential/group home level of care, discharging from a hospital setting or from state care, or who are new to state care. With the appropriate match and program strengths, safety planning and supports, children with fire-setting, sexual offending and sexual reactive behaviors, trauma, or various medical needs may be placed into a CHD Foster Care setting. CHD offers a variety of foster care placement situations, including both short-term and long-term overnight care, emergency placements, a 90-day diagnostic program, placement for children with special medical needs, and a homefinding service that works with CHD caseworkers to find and maintain a stable supply of families to house children in all of CHD’s Foster Care programs. Additionally, we provide a higher level of care within in the foster care continuum called “intensive foster care” or IFC, which assists children with medical needs.
