The Alliance is one of the leading non-profit organizations in the United States focused on reducing family violence and related abuse and neglect of children by helping communities and agencies provide more effective and collaborative services to victims and their children. The Alliance helps communities plan and operate Family Justice Centers or similar multi-agency public/private partnership Centers where victims can come one place for most or all of their needed services. We also develop innovative programs in local Family Justice Centers and regional and statewide initiatives to improve outcomes for victims of family violence and their children. Recently developed innovative programs include Camp HOPE, the Center for Solo Practitioners (in partnership with Thomas Jefferson School of Law and the San Diego Family Justice Center), and the Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention.
