The “Casa de Juice” Story I have always loved juice. Luckily, as a young child growing up in Mexico, fresh fruit was abundant and I could always get my juice fix at one of the many fruit stands in town. As I grew older and built my life in San Diego, I realized that Mexico had done a brilliant job exporting our tacos and burritos, but had failed to showcase its wonderful juice culture. So I made it my mission to introduce my community to this overlooked aspect of Mexican culture by providing healthy fast food alternatives that not only taste good, but make you feel good! I wanted to create a business that acknowledges and supports both our fast-paced culture and desire for quality food. Casa de Juice is conveniently located next to shopping centers, gyms, and office buildings, making it the perfect pit stop for customers who want to develop healthy habits and treat their taste buds to new and exciting flavors. Our fruits are always fresh and each blend is truly unique. Inspired by Mexican fruit stands, our menu offers creatively mixed aguas frescas, licuados, smoothies, and juices. You can even personalize your drink and maintain your health by adding pre/post workout and/or herbal boosts! Our signature jica-taco (with jicama in lieu of a tortilla) highlights an underappreciated Mexican staple fruit. The "Classic Carlos" menu offers traditional favorites like Carnitas, Chile Verde and Carne Asada, all hand cut prepared from scratch. Spanish colonization of the Mariana Islands (includes Guam, Tinian, Rota and Saipan) brought many of these similar traditions to the islands, and modern Chamorro cuisine is a melting pot with roots traceable to indigenous Chamorro, Spanish, Japanese, German and surrounding Micronesian cultures.
