At Progressive Martial Arts in Fresh Meadows, students of all ages are taught the importance of self-confidence, self-discipline, and effective self-defense skills through a diverse curriculum taught by experienced instructors in various disciplines of Mixed Martial Arts. We create an environment which allows and encourages every student to achieve their goals. Our university-type setting provides complete programs in Mixed Martial Arts, and more than 70 classes per week for both children and adults. Our adult program begins with a Foundations 101 designed lay the groundwork for the higher level programs. From there, students are invited to the Combat Athlete Program where one can focus in a particular discipline or cross train in one of 25 classes each week. Meanwhile, the youth program at Progressive Martial Arts is an age-specific program that is divided into groups that can meet each child's physical and psychological needs. Students as young as 3 years old can begin training by being taught fundamental listening, discipline, balance, and coordination.
