BASSment Saturdays is New York City's biggest weekly dubstep party. Founded by Annie Rinsky in June 2011, the party has attracted bass heads from all around the tri-state area since its inception. With talent ranging from underground heroes to DMC champions and world-renowned bass music legends, the lineups are always interesting and always have something new to offer. BASSment Saturdays takes place in the legendary Studio at Webster Hall, which has an underground and intimate vibe without sacrificing any production quality. The bass shakes the room and a hypnotizing light show captivates the crowd all night long. The party's resident DJ, Subset, has been with the party since September 2011 and continues to impress party-goers with his mixing skills, on-stage energy, and brand new (often unreleased) tracks. With Subset involved, the crowd always knows that they will be hearing the best and latest music. Mach 8 NYC redefines the concept of nightlife and electronic music. Mach 8 is located between MacDougal street and The Avenue of America in Greenwich Village and features deep house artists in a plush dance club setting. After entering, guests descend down a graffitied staircase to Mach 8’s front bar where guests can kick back and have specialty cocktails crafted by master mixologists. As they make their way deeper into the venue, they will enter an infinity-mirrored room that is wrapped with white leather couches. Then it’s onto the sexy, intimate main floor, which features state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, and 3-D projection screens, equally geared towards bottle service client and dancing. In the center of the room is the DJ booth, where the world’s biggest names in deep house will spin. On the sides are comfortable raised banquettes that are to better provide a front row view of the action. “I see a nightclub as a playground built for adults. What differentiates one from another is the amount of creativity you put into it,” explained Director of Operations Fabien Beretta, who has lined up an international lineup of top DJs each week. “At Mach 8, we embrace Deep House for the sole purpose that it’s a ‘vibe,’” Beretta continued. “When you go to Cannes, Ibiza, London or Paris you will see that Deep House is the predominant genre being played, from beach clubs, to nightclubs. Very few venues in New York City are offering a combination of heavyweight deejays mixed with glitz and glamour. We decided to take a risk and create something that has not been done yet. Instead of replicating what everyone is doing, we chose to go another route.”

Nelson & Steve Nelson Flores: As producer and director of Latin Madness, Nelson was instrumental in the development of this creative project. It is no surprise that one of the concepts of Latin Madness was born out of Nelson's love of comedy and Latin dance. Prior to embarking into the world of Latin dance Nelson was involved in the production of comedy shows. As a member of Laff-A-Lot Productions Nelson worked with New York's top stand-up comedians. Once he was bitten by the "Mambo Bug" Nelson began taking dance lessons with the masters of New York Mambo. He quickly moved on to become a dancer in several dance companies: Fuerza Latina, Mario Diaz Dance Revue and the Santo Rico Dance Company. Today in addition to being one of the "Masters of New York Mambo" himself, Nelson is the director of his own dance group, the Descarga Latina Dance Company. Nelson's dancing and choreography skills have taken him to Japan, Turkey, Italy, Belgium, Amsterdam, England, Peru, Germany, Canada, and throughout the United States. He has performed with Tito Puente, Tito Nieves, Celia Cruz, Fania All-Stars, India, El Gran Combo, Jose Alberto "El Canario" and various other artists. But it was his desire to combine the lightheartedness of comedy and the intensity of Mambo that gave birth to Latin Madness.
