There’s Nascar American & there’s American Chic, although we occasionally drink like the former, we design like the latter. For many years the original Firehouse stood on this spot & became a local legend. After some time passed, a couple of name & ownership changes, the restaurant/bar fell into disrepair left sad, broken-down & unloved, the two current owners, both San Diego residents purchased what was left of the business with pretty much all they had. Realizing Pacific Beach was growing up, their vision was to create a Retro-American-Chic version of the original to bridge the gap between the swanky Miami-style lounges & the warm cozy vibe of Pacific Beach.
