Hidden beneath Santa Ana’s historical Pacific Building on Broadway and 3rd sits an underground bar. Walk too quickly, and you might miss the modest stairwell entrance to The Copper Door… Inspired by minimalist design, European monastery drinking halls, and the speakeasy culture, The Copper Door offers patrons a unique, chic twist on the typical bar experience. The warm wood decor includes an impressive 30-foot communal table, benches, and long counters with accompanying bar stools. Most of these pieces were carved from a single 400 year-old ponderosa pine tree from Idyllwild, CA that fell naturally. Streams of hanging Edison bulbs create a low, amber lighting that are complimented by flickering candlelight throughout the venue. An intimate, raised lounge area featuring 4 booths is set apart with sturdy railing. The simple but ornate decor is offset with bare, concrete floors and an exposed ceiling. The beautiful 300-person capacity, 6,000 square foot space is perfect for hosting a range of events and has seen countless birthday parties, business functions, CD release parties, networking events, and even a few fashion shows. The Copper Door is a full bar that currently has 20 rotating craft beers and 8 signature cocktails, notably all on tap. An easy-to-read digital menu that is screened on a tv behind the bar is updated daily. With a rotating menu, The Copper Door’s knowledgeable bartenders and friendly waitresses are always more than happy to suggest a drink selection and can offer taste samples upon request. Patrons can expect exciting weekly entertainment and special events at The Copper Door. As a supporter and participant of downtown Santa Ana’s local arts community, the bar provides its large venue as a space for live music, DJs, dancers, painters, and more. The raised 15×15 ft stage and sound area is complete with mood lighting, special effects (fog machine, CO2 blasts, etc.), an open dance floor, and a full PA system. The ample use of wood decor and the open layout create special acoustics not found in many local music venues. Marcas Contemporary Art seeks to inspire, engage, and expand the accessibility of high quality contemporary art in Orange County, CA. Through education and engagement, we aim to expand the knowledge and awaken the curiosity of our patrons by offering a carefully curated variety of workshops, classes, and tutorials as a guide to the expansive breath of the contemporary art scene. A true artists' gallery, where the art comes first, we hope to nurture a new generation of talent and art enthusiasts by providing memorable interactions with the artists in an environment that encourages creativity, questions, discussions, and ideas. Our commitment to artists, patrons, and the community is simple: to bring quality contemporary art to Orange County. We believe in the work we display and the artists we represent. Gallery owner, David Luong, has always wanted to promote art and culture to those around him. Opening an art gallery would be a fantastic dream come true to achieve this goal. So in August of 2014, David and his husband, Steve, opened up the art gallery featuring digital art work manifested in the physical form by David, as well as featuring other amazing local guest artists on the first Saturday of every month from 7pm-10pm during the Santa Ana Art Walk. Select autographed art works will be available for purchase along with artist meet and greets. The Blue Lot aims to provide an environment for local artists to express themselves while also supplying an effective sponsorship opportunity for local businesses. The Blue Lot Rules 1. Don't paint or enter the property without permission. Respect the artwork of others and the property. All can have a chance to paint in this unique environment. Just ask. 2. No names, aliases or tags are permitted as the central focus of the artwork. We encourage positive messaging and Santa Ana relevant imagery. 3. All painting is to be completed on the day of art walk only (first Saturday of the month). It will be assumed that anyone painting on another day is not supposed to be here and their artwork will be buffed out. 4. Before painting a new piece, you must buff out the existing work. 5. Clean up after yourself. Trash cans are provided. We really appreciate your cooperation and look forward to working with you. We are excited to see what you will create in this unique atmosphere. I have read the Blue Lot rules and understand that if I do not adhere to them my privilege to paint on the Blue Lot will be revoked. (To be signed by all participating artists).

Gallery 211 features an Artist and Grand Opening Exhibits in conjunction with the first Saturdays Art Walk in DTSA. The gallery is free to the public. On the First Saturday of every month, downtown Santa Ana hosts its very own Artwalk in the Artists Village, drawing over 3,500 attendees and showcasing over 20 unique galleries, performances, artisan vendors and much more. Once here, you'll see Santa Ana's vibrant shopping, entertainment, business, and cultural colors. It truly has something for everyone from the hipster to Moms and Dads. Stop by for a visit from 6pm to 10pm at the 2nd Street Promenade and surrounding blocks. Our gallery is at the end of the 2nd Street Promenade and at 211 N. B-Minus Studios is a collaborative artist work space located in the historic Santora Arts Building in downtown Santa Ana. The studio serves a dual function as both an exhibition space and artists’ studio. By bridging the gap between where art is created and where it is displayed, B-Minus offers the public a unique way to engage with art outside the traditional gallery model.
