PIE BAR is the brainchild of identical mirror twins, Alyssa Lewis & Natalie Delucchi. Alyssa is the cofounder of the Seattle Pie Company. Her pies have won numerous awards and accolades locally and nationally three consecutive years in a row. Natalie, her twin sister, is an intoxicating mixologist. While Alyssa was perfecting her pie craft, Natalie was perfecting getting people smoothly lit. Together they unite their wicked talents to form PIE BAR on Capitol Hill. “We wanted to create something sinful. There is nothing I love more than having a piece of my marionberry pie with a frosty Organic Fishtale Amber.” MORE Nat has managed to turn my pies into booze concoctions. What is a Pietini, one might wonder? It’s a fascinating experience! Combine local distilled vodka with pie.” Lyss has been looking for a location to move her pie company after the City’s Shoreline Management shot her pie boat concept down on South Lake Union. After the twin’s father passed away in July, they decided to reopen the pie company together. Lyss explains, “I took all of the things I loved about Seattle Pie and brought them to an environment that better shows who I am, including my other half, a presence that Seattle Pie didn’t have. I spent my year off, finishing up my book, “Pie Girl” and fishing in the San Juan Islands. I thought I would come back to Seattle sooner, but the Salish Sea gave me the time to rejuvenate my pie disorder. The twins believe that they have concocted a true recipe for foodie success, PIE BAR, is set to open at its Capitol Hill location at 1361 E Olive Way in early spring. The Menu will consist of Alyssa’s famous artisan fruit pies, including her marionberry pie suffused with St. Johns Wart, savory pot pies, quiches and cream pies. Her twin, Natalie, will perfect the bar with local microbrews on tap served in frozen Mason Jars, Chelan wines and Pie infused martinis. Our goal is to turn your day into a sinful one, to give your minds the ultimate feel good foodie experience, celebrating our local farmers, breweries, wineries and distilleries along the way. Pie Bar will be offering whole pies and slice pies out a half window, where frequent piers can line up at 2pm to close to grab pie and go.

The Carlile Room, inspired by singer/songwriter and Seattle resident, Brandi Carlile, is Tom Douglas’ 13th restaurant in Seattle. With refernces to the explosive vibes of the late-sixties/early-seventies in its décor and classic seventies-era lounge cocktails, The Carlile Room presents a thoroughly modern and progressive menu with “plant house” features, and our favorite local meats. Located across from one of Seattle’s storied performance halls, the Paramount Theatre, The Carlile Room caters to pre and post-theatre crowds with sharable plates and a hearty late night menu.

Sam’s Tavern started in the1940’s, the original birthplace of Red Robin standing at the corner of Furhman and Eastlake in Seattle. Before they served gourmet burgers, offered bottomless fries, and adding the name “Red Robin”, it was just “Sam’s Tavern” and then “Sam’s Red Robin”. After dropping the name Sam, the rest is history....or is it? Fast forward 70 years later to 2013 the originator “Sam’s Tavern” is reborn. This time it’s in the heart of Capitol Hill off 11th and Pike. Sam’s Tavern is an energetic place to visit on a Friday and Saturday night, but also your “go-to” take-out on any night of the week. We are a burger joint!

Moe Bar is named for its ancestor, the legendary and truly rockin' Moe's Mo'Roc'N Cafe, but it's just a nice neighborhood bar attached to the live-music showrooms Neumos and Barboza. The aesthetic is vaguely 1970s, with wallpaper of a silvery-mirrored-leaves pattern and framed posters from bygone shows at the old Moe's.
