Dawn Enterprises, Inc. is a private non-profit (501-3-c) organization that offers Employment and Community Support Services to assist individuals of Southeastern Idaho with mental, physical, or social disabilities to achieve independence up to each person’s maximum capability. Dawn Enterprises filed Articles of Incorporation on the 20th day of December 1974. Dawn Enterprises, Inc. has been in continuous operation since and continues to be governed by a Board of Directors whom are volunteer citizens from the local community. This Board represents a wide range of expertise and experience. Several are the parent of individuals with a disability. They meet monthly to oversee the operations of the company and to make decisions on the future course and direction of the organization. Literacy is the largest focus in the tutoring portion of Foster Grandparents. However, grandmas and grandpas also assist in spelling, mathematics, science and special projects includin g art! Mentoring boils down to being a healthy, positive adult role model. Mentors encourage children and youth to be honest, to be accountable, to treat others with respect, to communicate, to participate - all resulting in higher self esteem and happiness!

We are a organization that is made up of 20-30 volunteers. We are always looking for new people to join and help with our cause. We have been saving lives since 1990.
