As the hub of the Kutztown University campus, the McFarland Student Union fosters a welcoming atmosphere that enhances diversity, student life and the academic experience, while maintaining a reputation of quality customer service that supports our internal community and campus guests.

The Marlin and Regina Miller Gallery maintains Kutztown University's collection of fine art objects. The collection is diverse, containing work by faculty members, alumni, and noted regional, national, and international artists. Pieces from the permanent collection are on view in various offices and public spaces throughout the university. Additionally, several large, contemporary, sculptural works are installed on the grounds. The Gallery presents significant and professionally executed solo and group exhibitions of contemporary art in a variety of mediums as well as supporting programs, events, and services that will directly enhance the artistic and philosophical development of our students and our community. We strive to challenge assumptions and stimulate discussion by presenting artwork and programs relevant to the social and cultural life of the general and special populations within our service area.
The College of Visual and Performing Arts includes a rich community of practicing artists and scholars who are dedicated to helping students develop their creative voice through art and design, music, and communication studies. Long-renowned for its ability to attract exceptionally talented students and faculty, the college also offers extraordinary facilities and frequent access to performances and exhibitions by celebrated artists and performers. Our close proximity to New York, Philadelphia, and Washington provides an extended artistic environment to inspire our students.
Vision Statement The College of Education at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania will continue to serve the Commonwealth by offering programs that reflect the model of lifelong learning within a diverse society. With a standards-based curriculum, the college will provide leadership in the evolving world of birth through adult education. Faculty will embrace a learning-centered philosophy, and instruction will be supported by state-of-the-art technology. The College of Education will continue to work collaboratively with the community to provide enriched environments for learning. Departments The departments housed within Kutztown's nationally accredited College of Education are comprised of faculty members who are devoted to creating the very best educational environments for our students. Each department is led by a department chair who works closely with the Dean and other faculty to make decisions regarding curriculum, program quality, requirements and future programming. At Kutztown, you will find that each department in the College of Education is one with a zest for teaching and learning. The 6 departments are: Elementary Education, Special Education, Secondary Education, Library Science and Instructional Technology, Counseling and Student Affairs, and Clinical Experience and Outreach. Degrees The College of Education offers Bachelor's and Master's degrees in a variety of programs in Library Science, Special Education, Secondary Education, Elementary Education, and Counseling and Student Affairs. PAPA Success Center The College of Education has opened the Pre-service Test Center to support the success of our pre-candidates on the Basic Skills exams. This resource is being offered in addition to the Efficient Activities & Strategies for Educators (EASE) Success Program on Desire to Learn (D2L).
