Moksha is a clothing boutique, art gallery, event space and art collective, all housed under one roof. Open since 2002,it has been a hub for creativity and style in Seattle. Simply put, our mission is to cultivate Seattle’s creative culture. Our Mission: In the future we will all be artists. At Moksha it is our mission to help create that future. Moksha is a space of creative freedom. With high ceilings, wood floors and ample room we can house the work of most any artist and we want all artists to feel at home here. We love and respect all forms of art. We love art coalescence. Ideas coming together to create something fresh and new. In our gallery/event space we will explore infinite styles, listen for sublime harmonies, feel the texture of culture and awaken in the future. We invite you to be an active witness. Create the future, love tomorrow. Clothing: We carry over 15 local clothing and jewelry lines and we are always looking for budding designers to help make their dreams come true. Our emphasis is always on the “art” of the clothing, the craftsmanship and creativity behind the concept. We also produce our own clothing line Evergold which is inspired by positive energy and our love for art, music and culture. Art: We feature a different local visual artist in our gallery every month. The opening night is always the third Friday of every month. We have live music, drinks, snacks, and the artist is present to discuss their work. We also have an online art gallery where people can purchase original pieces of artwork, prints and other merchandise. Venue: We offer our space to artists of every discipline (musical, visual, performance, culinary, etc.) to put their creativity on display. With 3,000 square feet and capacity of ~300 people, we can organize our space in a variety of different ways to accommodate an event. We have a PA system and video projector. We also have a team of talented artists, DJs, stylists and planners to help conceptualize an event if needed. Check our event calendar to see whats coming up. For all inquiries please email us at [email protected]. We are located on “The Ave” at 4542 NE University Way Seattle, WA 98105
