Film on the Rocks is a collaborative production of the Denver Film Society and Denver Arts & Venues and was created to provide an affordable opportunity for the community to enjoy films and live entertainment at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The first film screened in the program was Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather. In 2014, more than 65,000 people attended Film on the Rocks events.
We feature Go-Karts with a 6.5 hp Honda engine that will produce speeds up to 55 mph. Action Karting is a professionally run outdoor go-kart track that specializes in corporate team building, birthdays, anniversaries, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and everyday family fun!
Traditional Biergarten as found in southern Germany. This three-day family friendly festival held by the German American Chamber of Commerce - Colorado Chapter offers traditional Bavarian dancing, live German music, food and, of course, beer. We'll have games for children, Bratwurst eating contest and Frühschoppen. The festival is held at the TEV Edelweiss Pavilion on Highway 8 near Morrison, Colorado. The T.E.V. Edelweiss is a cultural organization founded in 1958 for the purpose to preserve the German language and traditions through costumes and customs. The motto of the T.E.V. Edelweiss shall is: "SITT UND TRACHT DER ALTEN WOLLEN WIR ERHALTEN." Translation: "Tradition and Costumes of the old, we shall uphold." The Edelweiss holds weekly cultural activities activities as well as German music dances most on Saturday nights. The Nitro Knockouts are a group of women from Bandimere Speedway that love racing and motorsports.
