The Egyptian Theatre—also known as the Ada Theater, at 700 West Main Street in Boise, Idaho—is a movie theater that opened in 1927.HistoryThe Egyptian Theatre is surrounded by urban legend and Boise history that makes this building a tour of Boise history and a cornerstone of the society scene.The theater's architecture is of the Egyptian revival style, inspired by the newly discovered King Tut's tomb. Over time, the structure underwent various changes. In 1999, it was remodeled once again after the original building.The theater is architecturally significant as one of the few surviving theaters from the grand cinema and movie palace era in Boise.The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum film premieres were all hosted at The Egyptian Theatre.Actor Aaron Paul rented out the Egyptian theater in downtown Boise to live stream the 14th episode of Breaking Bad.Said by some to be haunted, the theater was featured on the Travel Channel show Ghost Stories in 2009.

Swell Artist Collective is an open studio and gallery space located in Boise's historic downtown. Formed in November of 2015 and managed by artists Julia Green, Noble Hardesty, Stuart Holland, Kelly Knopp, and Victor A. Jimenez, Swell is located on the lower level of the Old Mercantile Building in Boise's BoDo district. By combining their individual artistic practices and ideas into a common space, the five artists' mission revolves around creating a vibrant studio and gallery environment that is open to the public and intent on helping bolster the community's rapidly-growing arts culture. Swell will be host to both First Thursday and independently organized artistic events while maintaining hours of operation during which people can visit.

With this in mind we cultivated ideas that are the foundation on which Crow Bar was built. Music: Crowbar will be solely dedicated to underground electronic music artists. There will be artists you've never heard of and some you have, this is the idea! We want to provide you with something completely new, we want to open your mind to new music. Each artists has been encouraged to play over two hours and some will play for five hours. SACA is here to facilitate artist through quality recording. My focus is on local talent who want access to equipment that they may not be able to attain on their own. The goals are to see musicians grow together, the Treasure Valley's music diversify, and ultimately gain more recognition.
The Boise Creative Center is located at the old A-1 Heating building at 12th and Front, downtown Boise. It is a 12,000 square foot facility that will house a number of artists. We will host paint parties, private gallery showings as well as guest artists. There will be a full wood shop and we will be stretching our own canvasses. Frankly Burlesque is a monthly burlesque review happening the second Sunday of each month, 8pm at Pengilly's Saloon. Featuring a rotating cast of the most sparkly and stunning burlesque performers in the valley, Frankly Burlesque celebrates the art of strip tease. Ranging from side splitting hilarity to mesmerizing and seductive, there's a flavor of strip for everyone! Hosted by Frankly Frankie, aka Anne McDonald, of the Red Light Variety Show and Dan Costello the musical bad ass, this show will send patrons happily heading into their work week, giddy as school girls in the spring!

Morrison Center for the Performing Arts is Idaho’s premier performing arts center and frequently listed in Pollstar’s Top 100 Theatre Venues. Nestled on the banks of the Boise River with a panoramic view of the city, parks and foothills, the Center’s 10-story stage house is a recognizable fixture of the Capitol’s picturesque skyline. The realization of a life-long dream of Harry W. Morrison, and championed by his widow, Velma, the Center opened its doors on April 7, 1984.
