Waterford Beach Park offers visitors a rare opportunity to experience an unmodified natural beach with outstanding views of Long Island Sound and extensive tidal marsh. This nearly 1/4 mile long sandy beach provides one of the best examples of an intact dune system in the State. Municipal tennis courts nearby. Daily parking passes for non-residents can be purchased at the gate and seasonal passes sold through the Parks and Recreation Department. Parking is limited, so plan to arrive early on the weekends.
