Pero también reconocer prácticas opresivas en nuestra propia cultura y crear nuevas tradiciones que abran espacios para la diversidad de culturas en nuestra comunidad sin estereotipos. - Tener una cultura de unión, solidaridad y apoyo. Sabemos que somos diferentes pero podemos trabajar en grupo. Aceptamos críticas constructivas y somos bondados@s cuando hacemos críticas. Nos reunimos para aprender y creemos que la política es una manera de actuar en grupo con conciencia de justicia colectiva y trabajo colaborativo. Creemos en la organización comunitaria como la forma en la que se lucha por la justicia social para l@s inmigrantes, las mujeres, l@s niñ@s, y l@s trabajador@s IMI Corona is: - A community center for alternative education open to all regardless of legal status, where we mix creative and practical knowledge. - A think-tank for reflection, debate and action by people’s philosophers to reimagine the role of immigrants in society and to change unjust situations. - A laboratory for artivist practices that merge arts and activism. Nació y vive para el deporte, desde su ciudad natal Milagro en el Ecuador demostró a temprana edad capacidades excepcionales para la practica deportiva. Siendo un niño, representando a su escuela primaria ganó el campeonato escolar en atletismo. En la secundaria perteneció a las divisiones inferiores de fútbol del Colegio Nacional Aguirre Abad de Guayaquil y es ahí donde da sus primeros pasos en las Artes Marciales, en aquella epoca estaban en todo su furor las peliculas de Artes Marciales protagonizadas por el legendaro Bruce Lee. Julio Mora empieza a tomar en serio el entrenamiento de las Artes Marciales a los catorce años de edad ante la necesidad de saber defenderse, ya que en el barrio de la ciudad en que vivía son normales las peleas callejeras. Justamente en las peligrosas calles, Julio Mora adquiere el temple necesario que debe tener todo peleador. Su maestro, el coreano Bum Jae Lee lo descubre entre sus alumnos en la academia de taekwondo que poseía este experto en la ciudad de Guayaquil. El profesor B.J. Lee, lo somete a rigurosos entremanientos, observandolo en combates preparatorios ante rivales con mayor experiencia y más fuertes. Mora pasa todas las pruebas selectivas y se le presenta la gran oportunidad de debutar en el Coliseo Cubiero de Deportes de Guayaquil, esto fue durante el Campeonato Nacional de Taekwondo en agosto de 1979. Mora gana el campeonato nacional, siendo todavia juvenil. Ahí comienza la fascinante historia deportiva de este Campeón de las Artes Marciales, Mundialista, Peleador de Taekwondo de alto nivel, convertido ahora en Grand Maestro.
