It all started in 1990, when the founding partners opened a hot dog cart on West 53rd & 6th Avenue, New York, NY. The saw a huge demand among the Muslim cab drivers needing to have a halal Muslim meal. They quickly exchanged their cart and began servicing halal food, which became a huge success. They focused on the enhancement of their products to make it different and enjoyable. From that time, they pledged to use the best halal products to serve the public. During that time, they created their special magic white sauce and fiery hot sauce, which our public loves. The second opening is on the southeast corner of W.53rd Street and 6th Avenue across from the main cart that is next to the Hilton hotel. The third opening was on the southwest corner of 7th avenue and W53rd Street. The fourth opening was at the LaGuardia Community College in front of the Thomas. The fifth opening was on the northeast corner of East 14th Street and 2nd Avenue. Our latest opening, is our first brick and mortar shop, The Halal Guys Store, which is also located on East 14th Street and 2nd avenues. Now The Halal Guys has steadily grown to become the leading and largest food cart company within the New York area. Now the quick-service halal street cart company is going national, creating a chain that keeps the core values and provides opportunities to new partners who want to share The Halal Guys experience. Founded in 1999, Newport Beach Vineyards has defied expectation since inception. The vineyard was the first to be licensed in Orange County in over 100 years, and as of 2010 the Vineyard is the first ever Estate producing vineyard in Orange County. Bottling one Bordeaux style red wine annually, the vineyard has produced a wide array of sensational wines that are unfiltered and intended to be enjoyed either immediately after purchase, or kept in the wine cellar for a couple of years. Before bottling, the wine is aged in french oak for two years. Each vintage has distinct characteristics that range from dark bold cacao notes with a velvety finish, to brighter blends with hints of cherry, citrus and floral notes. The property contains a 1,000 square foot wine cave, where private tour and tastings can be booked for groups of 8 to 30 people, and formal sit-downs for up to 75 people can be booked. A visit to the vineyard will show you creativity in DIY recycling: wooden pallets, steel posts, concrete, boulders, corks, and barrels are reworked to provide a beautiful and sustainable environment for functions and events. Nature lovers will see a tropical paradise of rare palm trees, bananas, cycads, orchids, finches, cockatiels, turtles, Koi, catfish, bluegill, perch, and much more. The grounds also have a chicken coop where the Goldenrod Six have come to find home. They love being here, and so do we.
