Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden’s mission is education and our passion is connecting people and plants to improve communities. Our goal is to extend beyond traditional boundaries to have a positive impact and to enrich lives. The Garden is growing fresh produce for the hungry; actively participating in urban greening and water management initiatives; contributing to economic development and work-force training; and educating diverse youth and adult audiences about critical issues related to the interdependence of plants and people. Lakeside Youth Baseball was established in 1954 at it's current location in the northwestern section of Henrico County in Virginia, near Richmond. Lakeside Youth Baseball is a non-profit organization providing a wonderful baseball opportunity to every child, regardless of race, sex, or religion.
Founded 180 years ago, St. Joseph's Villa has always held to its mission of taking care of people in need who could not be served by other organizations and individuals in the community. We are mission-driven, believing that each person, no matter how challenged, deserves to live the fullest possible life and that each person, no matter their history, needs to be given the opportunity for a fresh start.
Skilled and trained instructors will assist individuals in accomplishing their necessary goals; MAD4YU will produce a variety of instructional materials, both printed and electronic to aide in reaching goals. MAD4YU will have a website that's linked to a wide array of educational sites which will assist individuals who do not have access to a computer or the Internet. A registration process will be designed to determine what areas of weakness we should focus on to better assist the individuals. This registration process is the key to our charitable mission. Our affordable services will allow anyone who is interested in reaching their highest potential have the opportunity to do so.
