Recruiters School is a formal school charged with screening and training entry and career level Marine Corps enlisted personnel assigned to recruiting duty and career planner duties. All of the procedures, required actions and guidance contained within the standing operating procedures (SOP) are intended to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of personnel assigned to Recruiters School to accomplish the assigned mission. Recruiters School is home to three seperate courses: Basic Recruiter Course (BRC) Career Recruiter Course (CRC) Career Planner Course (CPC)

This unique race features obstacles used only by Marine Corps Recruits, plus over 60 USMC Drill Instructors that "encourage" participants along the race course. The BootCamp Challenge is a part of the annual schedule of events during San Diego's Fleet Week.

The EFMP assists Marine Families in managing the dual demands of a Marine Corps career and the special needs of a family member. The program ensures that the family will be assigned to a location where appropriate services exist to support the special needs of the EFM.
The Family Care branch offers Marines the help they need to keep family members physically fit, help reduce the impact of the mobile military life style on military school-age children and improve the quality of life for Marine Corps families with special needs. Marine Corps Bands play a central role in preserving the culture and ceremonial traditions of the Marine Corps. They also serve as musical ambassadors, telling the Marine Corps story and instilling national pride and patriotism, by providing inspirational and entertaining musical performances for audiences across the United States and literally around the world. These professional musical organizations have provided thousands of Marines the opportunity to serve their country in a uniquely patriotic role while gaining skills and experience as musicians and as leaders.
If you were a recruit, Drill Instructor or Series Officer assigned to Platoon 1070 (1069 Series) which graduated 72 hard-charging young Devil Dogs on 19 September 1986, then this is YOUR page! We want to help all veterans from Plt 1070 reconnect, and ultimately would like to plan a reunion for our 30th anniversary of becoming Marines in Sept 2016.
