Raised nearby in south Orange County, Dr. Andrew Gamache completed his undergraduate studies at Westmont College, Santa Barbara in 2000 with a B.S. in Chemistry. He then earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at the University of Southern California in 2005. He met his wife at USC dental school and the two of them were married in 2007. Dr. Gamache worked as an associate Doctor in Huntington Beach for two years and then moved with his wife to Houston, Texas where she finished her residency. After living in the state where "everything is bigger" they made the move to "the big city" and enjoyed living in Manhattan, where their son was born. Dr. Gamache and his wife felt the pull to come back to Southern California and be closer to family. After much searching he met Dr. Howard First and his team and knew that this would be a great practice and a perfect fit for him. Now living in San Diego, Dr. Gamache is entering the next phase of his professional career. Dr. Gamache practices all aspects of general dentistry. This includes preventative, cosmetic, single appointment Cerec crowns, reconstructive, surgical, and Invisalign dentistry. He enjoys learning cutting edge clinical skills with continuing education and using the most current techniques and materials. Dr. Gamache is a husband and father. Specializing in a full scope of periodontics with expertise ranging from dental implants to cosmetic periodontal surgery, gum grafting and crown lengthening. Additionally, one of the few providers in southern California of endoscopic microultrasonic periodontal debridement, a "deep cleaning" alternative using a camera to view beneath the gum tissues. Dr. Parker D. Workman received his D.M.D. degree from Harvard in 2004 and certificates in general practice residency (2005) and periodontics (2008) from the University of California, San Francisco. Prior to dental school, Dr. Workman was a research scientist studying toxicology, pharmacology, molecular genetics and entomology. Dr. Workman practices periodontics in San Diego, California where he focuses on periodontal plastic surgery, implants (often with CT guidance for optimal placement), as well as, non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease using endoscopic microultrasonic periodontal debridement. Dr. Workman is an active member of many dental societies including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology and Academy of Osseointegration. He lectures on treatment of periodontitis, guided tissue regeneration with bioactive compounds, advanced grafting techniques for implants and dental implants including treatment planning and restoration.

Dr. William Carlo, a ninth-generation California Native, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from San Francisco State University. Upon graduating, he served in the United States Navy as a helicopter pilot. After serving his country, Dr. Carlo received his D.M.D., Doctor of Dental Medicine from Farleigh Dickinson University, School of Dentistry. •Dr. Carlo opened his private practice in Bankers Hill, San Diego, practicing as the same location for over 20 years. •Dr. Carlo finds dentistry very rewarding and feels it is a gift, not an occupation. •Dr. Carlo has been blessed with small hands, and a big heart. •Dr. Carlo lives in Point Loma with his wife Cathy. •Dr. Carlo’s hobbies include flying, running, gardening, fishing and hosting various charity events with his wife Cathy.
