With only four tables, this restaurant was but a miniature version of what you see today. As time went on, word of Taqueria De Anda’s mouthwatering menu began to spread. Before we knew it, people were making their way from all over town just to get their fill of our delicious tacos. As we’ve grown we’ve made it tradition to keep every new location a family-owned restaurant. Chances are, if you’re in a Taqueria De Anda restaurant, so is a De Anda. Taqueria De Anda has defined itself over the years not only by our quality food and ingredients, but by our customer service as well. Taqueria Los Parados Mexican Grill first opened in Las Vegas, Nevada and was set up by Raul Martinez, in honor of his brother Ignacio “Nachito” Martinez Godinez who had opened the family’s first restaurant in Jalisco, Mexico. Many changes have happened along the way, but our commitments to quality and service have always remained the same. We pride ourselves on our value for money and an exceptional service, and this is why our customers return time and time again. This is the same concept we expect to bring to our first restaurant in California. Thru a special partnership between Raul Martinez and AnaBertha Arias, we are excited to not only open the first Taqueria Los Parados in California, but also grow the chain to surrounding areas.
According to the restaurant's chef, it's just a generic Mexican salsa recipe. Key word here is Mexican. Instead of the mild, bland salsa you find at most gabacho-friendly Mexican joints, which tastes like a combination of tomatoes and water, this stuff has spice. And it's made fresh every day from ripe tomatoes, onions and a hefty dose of arbole, also known as dried red peppers. Calamar also serves fantastic guacamole and a plethora of leviathan-sized seafood dishes.
