TLEE Gallery and Studio is a contemporary art gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona that features the art of Tina Lee. Tina Lee has been immersed in multimedia art since 2000. Her collections include painted canvas using a variety of texturizers ranging from crystal gesso to shredded photographs, painted wood fence posts, alcohol ink on canvas, and mosaic musical instruments. W. Somerset Maugham once wrote that "reproduction of an artist should be the expression of an adventure of his soul" and this is a notion that Tina feels is especially true of her work. Some of her pieces reflect the tumultuous emotions behind a failing relationship, or the relaxation of experiencing nature in isolation, or the pure joy of taking something ordinary like a yard sale guitar and elevating it in an extraordinary and unexpected way. Tina's art always echoes the adventures of her soul and she pours her emotions into every piece so that each creation is a true reflection of herself. Canal Convergence | Water + Art + Light, presented by Scottsdale Public Art and Salt River Project (SRP), brings together interactive art installations for a one-of-a-kind, immersive experience. Coming into its fourth year, Canal Convergence will take place at the Scottsdale Waterfront between Soleri Bridge and Goldwater Boulevard over four days. This year Canal Convergence will be from Thursday, February 25, through Sunday, February 28, 2016. During Canal Convergence 2016, attendees will enjoy 12 large-scale artworks positioned both in the Arizona Canal and along its banks. Additional attractions include an “Artist@Work” demonstration area, family-friendly hands-on activities, art and dance workshops and live performances throughout all four days. Friday and Saturday evenings will also feature a beer and wine garden.
