I have a private practice in Old Town San Diego. I have a masters degree in counseling psychology and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I specialize in the treatment of individual's who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma and addiction related problems. If you feel you're at a crossroads in your life, or if you feel stuck I can try to help you move forward. I believe that human beings have a tremendous capacity to heal and to be resilient. Coming to therapy can be a positive first step to getting help and to heal from the inside out. During the therapeutic process I will help you gain insight into maladaptive behaviors and or distorted cognitions which may be holding you back from true happiness. I will teach you positive coping skills and provide you with tools to achieve and maintain your treatment goals. I follow a collaborative approach to therapy and draw upon many different interventions and techniques that specifically fit each client's treatment goals and problems. I believe that therapy should be about working together in a non-judgmental warm environment and this is the foundation that can evoke change within a person.
