Nickelodeon Suites Resort was a Nickelodeon-themed hotel in Orlando, Florida, United States, near the Universal Orlando Resort and one mile from Walt Disney World Resort.The resort featured one-to-three bedroom suites and two waterparks, the Lagoon Pool and Oasis Pool. A "4-D" film theater using SimEx-Iwerks technology, 3,000-square-foot arcade, golf course, multi-level basketball court and "Nick After Dark" event locations were also open at the hotel. The resort contained a mall with a Nickelodeon-brand retail shop and a buffet known as the "Nicktoons Café," among other restaurants. Near the entrance of the resort was a time capsule formerly buried outside the former Nickelodeon Studios complex at nearby Universal Studios Florida.Nickelodeon Suites Resort was named one of the AAA's top ten family vacation spots in 2010, and in 2011, the hotel became the first to receive the AHLEI's Certified Guest Service Property Designation.HistoryThe original hotel opened on July 7, 1999, and was branded the "Holiday Inn Family Suites." At an October 9, 2003 press conference in New York City, Holiday Inn and Nickelodeon announced a partnership and renovation of the hotel, which would transform it into the Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn.

Holiday Matsuri is a multi-genre convention that brings the members of our community together during the holidays to have fun and give back! We celebrate anime, video games, music, celebrity guests, cosplay, artists and more in the nerd culture with holiday cheer! You can enjoy our seasonal spin on convention contests, shows, dances, and parties! Each year Holiday Matsuri puts on a formal benefit ball supporting a charity such as Extra Life. It's a great way to help our community. Some of our favorite interactive events include Cafe Peko Peko, Hottest Men in Anime, and Peppermint Parlor. A unique feature of our Rotary Club is that we are the only civic organization granted the privilege and honor of wearing the iconic Mickey’s Ears in our Rotary badges and banners, an honor bestowed upon our Club during the original charter in the early 1970s. Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is a 626-room resort situated on the property of Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It is located at 1850 Hotel Plaza Blvd., across from the Disney Springs area.The hotel originally opened in October 1972 as the Americana Dutch Inn. As the Americana Dutch Inn it became the 3rd hotel to open on Walt Disney World property, located on Hotel Plaza Boulevard. It operated under the name until 1985 and in February 1986 it became the Grosvenor Resort. The hotel operated as Best Western Grosvenor for a number of years. On September 1, 2007, the property changed its name to Regal Sun Resort as part of a $25 million renovation. The hotel changed names again on November 20, 2010 when it became Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, operated by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.The hotel has 19,000sqft of meeting space and features a fitness center and two swimming pools.
