The 7th Street Underground Festival centered on the parking lot east of 7th Street Tattoo at 7th and State is a neighborhood celebration of art, live music, video and craft beer in the tradition and spirit of the district. 7th Street has for many years exhibited a forward attitude in the areas of live entertainment and uniqueness and this event is a glorificaiton of this tradition. Activities include the outdoor main stage entertainment featuring live music, magic, spoken word and carnival type acts with video presentations after dark. A second stage at Vino's will feature classic cartoons beginning at 5pm and live music at 10pm until closing. A Tattoo contest will be hosted by 7th Street Tattoo with a prize of a $100.00 value tattoo. An entry fee of $10.00 at the door will purchase a wristband gaining entry to all activities allowing free flow in and out throughout the day and night. Food and beverages will be available. Doors are at 1pm with entertainment beginning at 1:30pm.
