Healthy, smooth skin gives you a fresh, youthful appearance. Great skin is a key element of beauty; when your skin is well-taken care of, it acquires the famous “glow;” it is “radiantly” beautiful. Though they may not be able to put their finger on the exact reason, people tend to notice something special about a person with perfect skin. When you attempt to guess someone’s age, the number that you come up with is usually based primarily on the appearance of the person’s skin. As people age, their skin slowly loses its elasticity, and the pull of gravity causes it to sag. Wrinkles and jowls begin to form, and you may end up looking older than you feel. Dr. William Heimer and his highly skilled team of medical professionals can help you beautify and rejuvenate your skin using a wide variety of advanced procedures.

With clinic locations in San Diego and Rancho Bernardo, California, Pacific Research Network has been a leader in the field of clinical research for over 35 years and is dedicated to providing quality research for both volunteers and the pharmaceutical industry. Stephen G. Thein, PhD, the director and founder of Pacific Research Network, has conducted over 250 clinical trials and is one of the nation's leading researchers in memory and Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Thein has participated in the testing of several new medications to treat Alzheimer's disease, memory loss, anxiety, migraine, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, sexual dysfunction, smoking, social anxiety, and weight loss. Memory loss associated with aging has become the most critical and potentially costly health care issue on the medical horizon. Sometimes simple forgetfulness develops into a more serious cause for concern which threatens to rob people of their memories and quality regarding independent living. The Federal government has focused more resources and research in an effort to avert a crisis. Pacific Research Network is an independent research center that is working with both the private and government sectors. Over the past 35 years Pacific Research Network has made many contributions in the development of new medications to improve memory. Thousands of patients have been a part of their Memory Clinic's approximate 300 grant-supported programs in various types of memory-loss of the mildest to the most severe. Additionally, over 10,000 people have chosen to take advantage of The Clinic's unique 45-minute memory assessment. Many have chosen to participate in a study that might protect memory function. Some of those who took the memory assessment chose to take the results to their own physician for review or treatment. In addition, many have allowed the clinic to store their results for a future memory assessment comparison. These results comprise a "data-banking" that allows for a "critical assessment of changes over time," which allows for a detailed comparison that may identify insidious changes that might go undetected. If you or someone you know is interested in participating in a clinical research study, contact Pacific Research Network, Inc. at 619-294-4302.

My name is Andre Amado and I’m known in Capoeira as Instructor Massape. Capoeira is a Afro Brazilian art form; a mix of Martiial arts, Music, Dance, Acrobatics, Culture and Portuguese Language. I’m students of the pioneer of Capoeira in the USA, Master Jelon Vieira, with over 50 years on this art form. I’ve been practicing this art for 20 years now and teaching for 14 and since the beginning I had interest on teaching for kids and adults alike. During my bachelors years in psychology (concluded in 2005 at PUC-Rio de Janeiro- Brazil) I studied extensively Capoeira and its relation with human development for kids and adults, under a lot of different perspectives: psychologically, developmentally, socially, and culturally, as well as a sport form and more... I have taught regular classes and workshops in many different venues, Private gyms, schools, after schools, universities and over a few different countries: Brazil, New Zealand, USA and Mexico.
