Torrey Pines High School is a high school in the North County Coastal area of San Diego, California, United States. The school is named after the Torrey pine tree that grows in the area, although none of the extremely rare trees grows on the campus. Pine Trees and Eucalyptus are throughout. Torrey Pines High School is a member of the San Dieguito Union High School District and serves the communities of Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Torrey Hills, Solana Beach, Carmel Valley in San Diego County.Torrey Pines is one of four high schools in its district, the others being San Dieguito Academy, La Costa Canyon High School, and Canyon Crest Academy.AcademicsThe school is a three-time National Blue Ribbon School and a California Distinguished School.
