A collection of modern artists from around the world
Art Mobile is a transportable, pop-up art gallery that is located inside of a moving truck. It provides a unique way for local emerging artists to get their artwork exhibited in a gallery setting. Art Mobile is a gallery space that redefines the context in which art can be exhibited. The "transportable" aspect of this unique space allows for city-wide access to local arts. There is a thriving arts community in Orlando, and Art Mobile aims to act as a catalyst for these artists to show their work in a variety of locations, allowing them more exposure to a wider audience. While normally, people have to travel to an art gallery, Art Mobile will travel to the people. Art Mobile's focus is on attending local community events around Orlando. There is an abundance of festivals, events and markets in the city for Art Mobile to be a part of. Art Mobile creates an exhibition space that promotes arts education for Orlando community members. In doing so, Art Mobile will expand the market for the arts, provide a new space for local artists to display their artworks, and expose citizens of the City Beautiful to talented emerging artists in their own community.
