The Transfiguration of Christ Greek Orthodox Community is a parish community of the Eastern Orthodox Christian Faith located in Corona, NY (in the center of Queens). We are a member of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, under the spiritual leadership of His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios of America. Our Archdiocese is under the spiritual guidance of His All-Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Vartholomeos I. Our community was founded by Greek immigrants in 1926, and we recently celebrated our 85th anniversary. We offer a full-range of liturgical, cultural, social, and educational programs. Most notably, a Greek School, offering free education, in the form of Greek language, religion, and folk dancing classes. Our parish is bilingual, worshipping in both Greek and English, with the desire to serve all members of the community.

Apóstol Martina Useche es una gran mujer de Dios con un fuerte llamado de Liberación, Sanidad y Guerra Espiritual. Fundadora del Ministerio de Restauración Profético Misionero en el área de Nueva York desde el año 2003. Apóstol Martina quien hace más de 18 años se dedica a interceder por su pueblo. Ella emprende constantes retos y desafíos mediante la predicación de La Palabra de Dios, de la cual mantiene la visión de evangelizar, afirmar, discipular, enviar y levantar nuevos líderes para realizar el propósito de Dios en esta tierra. Actualmente Apóstol Martina reside en Los Estados Unidos desde el año 1988, es colombiana, madre de cuatro hijos, siete nietos y dos bisnietas y un bisnieto. Sus hijos son Janeth, Eliana, Edward y Ángela, con su nuera Angélica y yerno Diego todos le sirven al Señor, ellos han sido el apoyo y motor en su ministerio desde sus comienzos. La visión que ella tiene es internacional, y las misiones que ella abarca, se expanden dentro de los Estados Unidos, Europa y Sur América.
