Camping World Stadium is a stadium located in Orlando, Florida. The stadium is located in the West Lakes neighborhoods of Downtown Orlando, west of new sports and entertainment facilities including the Amway Center, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and the under-construction Orlando City Stadium. It opened in 1936 as Orlando Stadium and has also been known as the Tangerine Bowl, Florida Citrus Bowl, and Orlando Citrus Bowl.The stadium is the current home venue of the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, Orlando City SC of Major League Soccer, and the Russell Athletic Bowl. It is also the regular host of other college football games including the Florida Classic between Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman, the MEAC/SWAC Challenge, and the Camping World Kickoff. The stadium was built for football and in the past, it has served as home of several alternate-league American football teams. From 2011 to 2013, it was also the home of the Orlando City SC, a soccer team in USL Pro. From 1979 to 2006, it served as the home of the UCF Knights football team. It was also one of the nine venues used for the 1994 FIFA World Cup. The stadium is one of the few city owned venues in America. The City of Orlando owns and operates the stadium along with multiple arts and cultural facilities.

Amway Arena was an indoor arena located in Orlando, Florida. It was part of the Orlando Centroplex, a sports and entertainment complex located in Downtown Orlando. The arena was the former home of the Orlando Magic of the NBA and the Orlando Titans of the NLL. It is home of the Orlando Solar Bears of the International Hockey League, and the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League. It also hosted many other minor league sports teams, as well as various concerts and other events such as the PlayStation Pro event on the Dew Action Sports Tour and the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus annually.HistoryThe city of Orlando was interested in a downtown arena long before there was talk of an NBA franchise. The arena site on West Livingston Street was approved in December 1983, at a time when concerts and other large-scale events were held at the Orange County Convention Center, which is several miles away from downtown. Discussions on financing delayed the project for several years due to concerns of the convention center losing money if an arena was built, as an arena would be a better venue for many of the events previously held at the convention center. By the end of 1985, the city and county reached an agreement on a financing plan that would delay the opening of the arena until the end of the decade (unless the county agreed) so it would not compete with the convention center. The planned site grew 50% from its original plan and consumed three extra blocks south of Lake Dot.

Church Street Station, also called the Old Orlando Railroad Depot, is a historic train station and commercial development in Orlando, Florida. The historic depot and surrounding buildings house a retail and entertainment center. The complex also contains a stop for SunRail, the commuter rail service of the Greater Orlando area.The station building was constructed in 1889 by South Florida Railroad. It served several different railroads until 1926, when passenger services transferred to what is now the Orlando Health/Amtrak station. In the 1970s, the station and nearby buildings were bought and developed into an entertainment center. After its original owner sold the development in 1989, Church Street Station experienced a period of decline. In 2013, St. Petersburg businessman Mark Ferguson signed a 20-year lease with an option to purchase in hopes of turning the property around.StationAtlantic Coast Line RailroadThe station was originally built by the South Florida Railroad in 1889 (although some sources say it was built in 1890) to serve Orlando. The South Florida Railroad was bought out the Plant System in 1893, which in turn was taken over by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad in 1902. The station also served the Tavares, Orlando and Atlantic Railroad and the Orlando and Winter Park Railway. In 1926 passenger operations were transferred to Orlando Health/Amtrak station. The Church Street depot still survives to this day on the National Register of Historic Places.

The “Fun Beyond the Run” will feature a stunning half marathon finishers’ medal, more than 200 enthusiastic volunteers and live on-course entertainment will make this well-established race "beginner'' friendly and attractive to new runners. Local favorite cover band Derek and the Slammers will delight the finishers at the post-race party at Lake Eola. To attract developing and regional-class athletes, a $2,500 prize purse will be added to incentivize athletes for the 2012 race. This year’s OUC Orlando Half Marathon will be the home of the USA Track and Field State Half Marathon Championship, which will recognize the top three male and female finishers as the state champions at the half marathon distance. "We’re thrilled to have OUC as a hometown partner with such rich history who literally pours themselves into Orlando’s premier half marathon,” says Race Director Jon Hughes. “Together with the City and our sponsors, our goal is to showcase Orlando as a big-time running city and to make this one of the biggest and best U.S. half marathons.” The OUC Orlando Half Marathon is owned and managed by Track Shack Events, a locally owned road race management firm that manages more than 25 events per year and operates a specialty running/walking store. The beneficiary focus will be on youth health and fitness with race proceeds benefitting the Track Shack Foundation and the Florida Citrus Sports Foundation MVPs. Track Shack Foundation is a 501©(3) organization that helps provide health and fitness opportunities to young Central Floridians through funding youth athletic programs.
