The cabin has been newly updated and even has a brand new large hot tub that sits on a totally private covered deck with mountain views, a relaxing swing and no one in sight!! You will enjoy the woodland creatures decor throughout the cabin, bears, raccoons, wolves, moose, owls and more!! As you drive to the cabin, you will see the breath-taking views of the rolling Little Pigeon River! This beautifully decorated cabin is located between Gatlinburg (10 - 12 minutes) Pigeon Forge (15 minutes) and only 7 minutes to the grocery store, restaurants, the popular Arts and Crafts Center and awesome scenic trails. The roads and driveway are all paved with easy access and a paved driveway with parking for up to four vehicles. This is a biker friendly area!! As you approach the cabin, you will see that Lazy Bear is tucked down away from the sight of the few cabins that are on the road and is on and acre and a half of wooded beauty. When you walk in the front door, you will see the regulation size pool table and to the left is the half bath and laundry area. Then, you will walk into the kitchen area with all appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, plenty of dishes and utinsels. We have provided a great kitchen island / table and two stools for extra seating. Plus, there is a dining table with four more chairs. You will see beautiful views from the awesome large window and you will love the cathedral ceilingS! This cabin is very open an airy and filled with sunlight! Then you can stroll out to the deck, which is our favorite place to hang out at the cabin. Enjoy a soak in the new large hot tub, or relax on the swing, and remember, the deck is covered so you cannot see anyone. We even decorated the deck! It is adorable. As you return inside the cabin, you will see the loft area and the beautiful hand carved wood bears, raccoons, owls and deer. The living room is to the right. Then, you can go on up to tree house-like the master suite. It is truly romantic with peaceful views throughout the room and of course, you can soak your cares away in the heart shaped jacuzzi tub. The King size log bed is roomy and very comfortable. There is a full bath upstairs with a full size bathtub/shower. As you go back downstairs, you will find a queen size sleeper sofa for additional sleeping for two people. There is plenty of room to bring your air mattress for more sleeping space. We have provided a charcoal grill for your enjoyment. There is also a half bath with full sized washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. There are two new flat screen TV's, one in the bedroom and one above the gas fireplace. Satelite TV, DVD player and a great selection of DVDs to watch have been provided. We will soon have a gaming system in the cabin as we continue to make improvements to Lazy Bear. There are so many fun things to do in the area! There are attractions galore here. We always leave coupons for our guests to use while they are there. There are some wonderful restaurant choices. I don't know why, but the food is so much better there than at home. The shopping is great too and there are so many tourist attractions and theme parks, horseack riding, skiing, hiking, kayaking, golf and again the beauty of the area. I could go on and on telling you why you should stay at Lazy Bear cabin but they only allow me so many words! :) This is a great budget vacation destination. We offer a free night if you stay a week. Beautifully decorated rustic but elegant cabin sits on a lil over an acre with a private paved drive. It has two comfortable and cozy bedrooms with queen beds and flat screen TV's. It has a fully functional kitchen with everything you should need to prepare any meal. The living room has a sleeper sofa for extra guest. The large front porch has two sitting areas and a hot tub with DVD and TV with motion adjustable mount that can be viewed from the hot tub or sitting area. There is satellite and a small DVD library. WIFI available for emails and web browsing. The upstairs balcony has a beautiful mountain view and is perfect for your morning coffee and watching the sun rise. Back yard has a 16x16 party deck, fire pit, arbor and a wonderful mountain views !
