The Harlow Old Fort House is a historic First Period house at 119 Sandwich Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts.HistorySergeant William Harlow built the house in 1677 using timbers from the Pilgrims' original fort on Burial Hill built in 1621–1622. Harlow received permission to use the timbers after the fort was torn down at the end of King Philip's War in 1677. The Harlow family owned the house for nearly 250 years until the Plymouth Antiquarian Society acquired the building and hired Joseph Everett Chandler to restore the plasterwork in the house. The Antiquarian Society opened it to the public in 1921. In 1974 the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The house is still open to the public and features seventeenth-century re-enactors.Images

Hat Trick Theatre was started in 1998 to embody high standards of theater, with a sense of quality, creativity and fun for all who participate. We feel an audience can be emotionally affected and entertained by a work of art and that theater can be thought provoking as well as entertaining. Theater is an experience that is shared by all it's participants, audience and performers alike. It brings people together to laugh, think and feel, and enriches any community where it can flourish.
STUDIO, an artists space, is a choice-based art studio for children ages 7-18. Studio will offer several art projects to choose from in each studio session. Studio sessions will be kept small at a maximum of 10 artists per session. I will give my artists the opportunity to think creatively and to search beyond what is known when they are inventive. Choice-based art instruction enables students to discover what is means to be an artist through the authentic creation of artwork. It gives artists freedom to follow their own ideas and to learn by taking risks. Studio is an affiliate to, and located, at Second Nature Social Skills, www.secondnaturesocialskills.com, in downtown Plymouth. Studio is taught by me, Kate Vannata, I am a soon to be graduate of Bridgewater State University with a major in Art and a minor in Secondary Education. I am MTEL certified and am excited to begin my teaching career with you and your young artists.
