We are a Non-Profit, Community-Based Blood Center that supplies Cape Fear Valley Health’s patients with blood products, thanks to our compassionate blood donors. Cape Fear Valley Blood Donor Center was originally named The Blood Assurance Plan when it was initiated to Cumberland County in 1963. The plan offered citizens of the area an opportunity to be of service both to themselves and to the community. Our partnership was formed because each of us had a desire to create a pediatric speech clinic unlike any other. Therapy sessions are one-on-one, with limited outside distractions. VPS does encourage parent, guardian, and/or caretaker participation during the therapy sessions, as well as outside the clinic.
