The former La Posada de Albuquerque Hotel reopened October 1st, 2009 as Hotel Andaluz, following a $34 million renovation. The hotel’s new name reflects the Moroccan and Spanish- inspired architecture that Conrad Hilton incorporated into this, his first hotel in his native New Mexico, when the building was first constructed in the late 1930’s. In addition to a full-service restaurant, Lucia, and an exciting indoor/outdoor bar, Ibiza, Andaluz will also feature a mezzanine-level cultural center honoring New Mexico’s museums, cultural institutions, performing arts groups, and other culturally significant organizations. The renovation preserves the history of the building, while modernizing its technology and introducing true environmental sustainability. Andaluz, is owned by Goodman Realty Group. We are located a block from the Albuquerque Convention Center and have 107 rooms and suites, meeting space for a variety of booking needs. For more information, please visit hotelandaluz.com.

We utilize premium ingredients and an extensive pilot brewing practice to produce easy drinking beers that draw from classic styles. B3’s flagship beers, like our classical inspirations, are noticeably easier drinking than typical craft brewery offerings. Easy drinking does not mean boring. Our beers are incredibly aromatic and flavorful. Traditionally inspired beer offerings are a defining attribute of our brewery. Our flagship beers include the American Brown Porter, Belgian White Ale, Scottish Ale, and American Extra Pale Ale, four classic styles from across the world. These beers are sessionable, meaning you can enjoy a few of them without your palate growing fatigued or becoming too intoxicated.
Historical Live music venue without theater seating. Available for concerts or almost any type of an event you could think of, public or private. Check out our website or give us a call. Unfortunately our offices are not at the theater so if you just drop by you may be surprised to find no one there.
The Roost was inaugurated in late summer of 2009 by tuba-player/composer Mark Weaver to try to address what he perceived as two interlocking needs in the Albuquerque community: to provide a venue and stimulus for musical projects which were either in process of germination or which did not fit into readily marketable genres, and also to provide a place where members of the community interested in adventurous music could experience these projects without risking a high admission price for untested or unconventional programs. That first season consisted of nine concerts over two months, at a black-box theater space called “The Filling Station” in the historic downtown Barelas neighborhood, featuring musicians from San Diego, Los Angeles, and Boulder, as well as Santa Fe and Albuquerque. The success of the first season led Mark to present the series again in 2010 with nine concerts at a University of New Mexico space called “UNM ARTS Lab”, including artists from all over the U.S. The Roost partnered with local non-profit Local Poets Guild to present the series again with nine concerts in 2011, this time at a converted warehouse performance venue called “The Projects” in the industrial North Edith Blvd. area of town. In 2012 and 2013 The Roost moved to the renowned Outpost Performance Space (with partial support from the National Endowment for the Arts). In 2014, The Roost moved to a gallery space in the North Downtown area of Albuquerque called "Spirit Abuse", operated by Postcommodity. Collectively The Roost has presented music by Rob Wallace, Dwight Loop, Jeremy Bleich, Vinny Golia, Tracy McMullen, Hal Onserud, Phillip Greenlief, Alan Lechusza, Shawn Woodyard, Janet Feder, Michael Vlatkovich, J.A. Deane, Dave Wayne, Jeremy Drake, Jessica Catron, Jefferson Voorhees, Mustafa Stefan Dill, Dottie Grossman, Joe Baiza, Zack Freeman, Milton Villarrubia III, Robert Muller, Brian Allen, Bill Clark, and many other local and national artists. 2015 brings The Roost to Tricklock Performance Laboratory, an excellent black box theater space in downtown Albuquerque. http://TheRoostABQ.com
