Sea Tea Improv is Hartford’s professional comedy company. We perform and teach improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy. Our performers and instructors have trained at the country’s premier comedy schools, including the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Second City, ImprovBoston, and more. We’ve done hundreds of shows & classes for thousands of audience members & students since 2009. We teach comedy classes and workshops in our own comedy Studios on the 5th floor of 75 Pratt St. in Downtown Hartford. We do public comedy shows and we’re also available for hire as your event entertainment. We can perform at your workplace, and even lead improv for business workshops. We are currently building out our very own comedy theater, the Sea Tea Comedy Theater at 15 Asylum St. in Downtown Hartford!
The iQuilt Plan is a culture based urban design plan for Downtown Hartford. The Butler-McCook Homestead is a historic house museum at 396 Main Street in Hartford, Connecticut. Built in 1782, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The house was in one family for two hundred years, and is also notable for gardens designed by Jacob weideman.Connecticut Landmarks operates the house as a museum known as the Butler-McCook House & Garden. The house reflects two centuries of ownership by one family, with furnishings and decorative items ranging from the Colonial through the Victorian eras. The house also features the Main Street History Center, with exhibits about Hartford's history.
