Welcome to the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, Milwaukee's 12,700-seat home for sports, entertainment and assemblies since 1950. One of the first TV-friendly venues in the nation, the then-"Milwaukee Arena" came of age with rock & roll and later gained fame as "MECCA," a house of champions with a reputation for unparalleled fan intensity and an audacious Pop Art basketball floor. A major 1998 renovation readied the building for the 21st century with new technology and enhanced accommodations for both patrons and productions, while retaining its fervor-inducing geometry and super-strong, ready-to-rig ceiling. Whether you're routing a tour, organizing a corporate assembly or attending a sporting event, concert or family show, the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena is equipped to serve your needs and help ensure your maximum enjoyment and success! Tickets to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena events are sold at the Milwaukee Theatre Box Office, 500 W. Kilbourn Avenue, just inside the front vestibule. The regular hours shown here are box office hours. Tickets are also sold at a kiosk in the Main Rotunda of the Wisconsin Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue. The dead would love to tell THEIR stories. Why wait? Tell yours while you're still alive. Ghost Tales is your place to regale others about your close encounters of the first hand, under the guise of our acknowledged site, without coming off as a flaming lunatic. Post your stories here! A word about the Shakers Ghost Tours: -They form at 7:00pm and 8:30pm every Friday and Saturday night, at Shakers, and are guided by experienced Guides - Are as much a historical tour of Milwaukee, as they are an entry to the Paranormal -Runs in groups of 13, so come early (*or reserve all 13 spaces for a group discount) -Allows you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in what some consider a portal to the other side. -Allows you to walk around a guided tour with a stiff drink in your hand (authentic period Pernod Absinthe cocktail, anyone?) -Will likely shake you a bit. Over the years, many staff members/delivery/drivers/psychic mediums/customers have been scared away from Shakers by their spiritual encounters. Some have returned to visit, and their tales are always quite interesting... for further information; www.milwaukeeshauntedbar.com, or, www.shakerscigarbar.com
