Anthony Watkins is a former D1 collegiate and professional football player. He played Safety at Oregon State University from 2008-2012, attended the Chicago Bears Rookie mini camp and signed with the CFL Edmonton Eskimos in 2014. While attending Oregon State, Anthony received his BS degree in Exercise and Sports Science with an option in Fitness and Nutrition. His senior year he interned under Bryan Miller, Head Strength Coach at OSU and 3rd runner up in 2012 for Best Football Strength and Conditioning Coach in the Nation. Throughout Anthony’s four years at OSU, he coached youth football camps and high school weight training programs.Since graduating in January 2013, Anthony has been a personal trainer at multiple gyms and facilities. During this time, he has been mentored and trained by the highly respected Tim Manson. Tim has trained professional athletes such as Nate Robinson, Kevin Durant and Brandon Gibson. Anthony has trained professional athletes in basketball, football, and a variety of youth, high school and collegiate athletes. Anthony Specializes in sports specific training such as speed, agility, strength training, weight lifting programs, injury reduction and individual and group training. Anthony Watkins trains his clients out of NS Performance facility in downtown Seattle.
