The Adventuredome, formerly known as the Grand Slam Canyon, is a 5acre indoor amusement park located at Circus Circus in Las Vegas, Nevada on the Las Vegas Strip. The park is connected to the hotel inside a large glass dome, and currently offers 25 rides and attractions including the Canyon Blaster roller coaster, rock climbing wall, 18-hole miniature golf course, an arcade, clown shows, Xtreme Zone, Pikes Pass, Virtual Reality Zone, Midway Games, and carnival-type games. Because the park is enclosed, it is not affected by cold, rainy, or windy weather, unlike most theme parks, and is open year-round. Every October since 2003, the Adventuredome is changed to Fright Dome as a Halloween-themed theme park.The Adventuredome opened on August 23, 1993 in the west parking lot of the hotel. It sits on a reinforced 18" thick deck elevated 18ft above ground. The dome itself consists of over 350000sqft of pink tinted, insulated glass over a teal green space frame (to minimize structural poles inside). The renovated property reopened on August 23, 2014, after a $415 million renovation as part of SBE's chain of SLS hotels.HistorySahara (1952-2011)The first casino built on the site was the Club Bingo, which opened in 1947. Owner Milton Prell replaced the casino with a new casino hotel in 1952 called the Sahara Hotel. It was located just outside the City of Las Vegas, and was the sixth resort to open on the Strip. The resort was built by Del Webb. The Sahara was one of the last remaining vintage "Rat Pack" casino-hotels, leaving only the Flamingo, The Riviera, Caesars Palace and The Tropicana. The porte-cochere entrance, topped by an onion-dome minaret, was designed to set the resort's warm Moroccan flavor and hospitality for arriving guests. Sahara Sue was found near hotel.

It is adjacent to Circus Circus.Slots-A-Fun is one of the smallest casinos operating on The Strip, and offered some of the lowest table-game betting minimums on the famed street. As of summer 2008, players could wager as little as $2.00 at craps and $1.00 at blackjack. The craps table is directly located at the main open-air entrance and, of all gaming tables in Las Vegas, is the gaming table that is physically located closest to the traffic of the Strip.The casino no longer hosts live table games. In addition to a government investigation into the organized-crime connections, Sarno and Mallin were also being investigated for tax code violations. The casino's financial problems also continued and Sarno, along with his partner Stanley Mallin, decided to sell out.

The Stardust Resort and Casino was a casino resort located on 63 acres along the Las Vegas Strip in Winchester, Nevada.The Stardust opened in 1958, although most of the modern casino complex — including its main 32-story tower — was built in 1991. It was demolished on March 13, 2007, a short lifetime even by Las Vegas standards, where casinos are torn down and rebuilt on a regular basis. Shortly after the resort opened, the defunct nearby Royal Nevada hotel and casino was converted to become part of the Stardust.The Stardust officially closed at 12:00 p.m. on November 1, 2006 after operating continuously for 48 years. It was imploded on March 13, 2007, around 2:33 a.m. In 2007, Boyd Gaming, which owned the property, began construction on Echelon Place, Stardust's intended replacement. Construction was halted in 2008, however, during the economic downturn. In 2013, Malaysia-based Genting Group bought the site from Boyd, with plans to open Resorts World, a Chinese-themed resort, by 2018.SignThe famed Stardust sign became a symbol of Las Vegas. Young Electric Sign Company was hired to fabricate the sign. Kermit Wayne's design was selected for both the façade and the roadside signs. Although Moe Dalitz, who took over from original developer Tony Cornero upon his death, said it was from his original plans, the sign was really part of Cornero's original concept.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a US$2.9 billion, 3,889-room, 68-story unfinished resort and casino development near the north end of the Las Vegas Strip on the 24.5acre site previously occupied by the El Rancho Casino in Winchester, Nevada. It was intended to be a sister property to the well-known 1950s-era Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The tower was topped out in November 2008.BankruptcyFontainebleau Resorts CEO Glenn Schaeffer, the former chief financial officer of Mandalay Resort Group, which generated record profits before it was sold to MGM Mirage in 2005, left Fontainebleau Resorts without comment in May 2009. Schaeffer was primarily responsible for securing more than US$3 billion in loans for the project.

He broke his own attendance record in February 1970, and again in August 1970 and August 1972. When playing Las Vegas, he lived in the penthouse suite (room 3000), located on the 30th floor, until his last performance there in December 1976. Elvis was due to perform there again in 1978, to celebrate the opening of the North tower, but the singer died in August 1977. His manager, Colonel Tom Parker lived in the hotel on the 4th floor from the 1970s to mid-1980s.
