THE MENU Beer was our first love. But we’ve also enriched our ‘beersperience’ by carefully cultivating a long-lived relationship with food. In keeping with Upland’s Indiana pride, our talented kitchen crew utilizes local proteins and produce whenever possible to design our seasonal lunch and dinner menus and weekly specials. With a wide variety of choices ranging from Indiana staples to unique dishes that will satisfy the most adventurous eaters, a meal at the Upland Brewpub is an experience no beer lover should be denied! And for our many tree-hugging friends, we have plenty of creative and delicious vegetarian and vegan options available daily. THE POUR Our seasonal beers are constantly rotating, but at any given time the Brewpub will have seven beers on tap for you to choose from. If you find it hard to choose, order a sampler and enjoy a 5oz. glass from each of our seven taps! While we encourage you to try our beers, we also offer a selection of local and international wines meant to pair well with our menu. Although we do not sell kegs at the Brewpub (we recommend Big Red Liquors in Bloomington, or our Indy Tasting Room), we do offer 6-packs, bombers, and growlers to go every day, including Sunday! THE PATIO Strange and wonderful things happen in our biergarten. Bands play at a higher caliber. Small children behave. Fierce K9 alpha males roll over and show each other their doggie bellies. And with our propane heat lamps and our new outdoor fireplace, we’ve extended the patio season from early spring through late fall. Most of Bloomington’s nightlife is comprised of typical college bars—there is a tremendous, unmet demand among students for a nightclub-style, live music and dance atmosphere. With the lack of a large entertainment venue in Bloomington, Indiana, the vast amount of patrons, comprised of mostly college students, flock to the famous local bars to satiate their social and entertainment needs. This works relatively well and has been a very lucrative business for the local bars.
