Since 1961, Bavarian Meats has been hand-crafting exactly what German-American sausage makers are supposed to hand-craft: over 50 types of sausages, wieners, cold cuts, smoked meats, and salami. As a third-generation family owned and operated business, we use the same beloved recipes that Max Hofstatter (Grandpa Max) brought over from Munich in 1933. We take immense sausage-maker pride in everything we create – using only the finest natural ingredients and Old World preparation methods.

UNLIKE ANY PICKLE AVAILABLE TODAY, OUR RAW LIVE CULTURE FOODS ARE BROUGHT TO FRUITION IN HANDMADE OAK BARRELS! Oak barrels are perfect containers for fermenting foods. The natural tannins in the wood help lower the pH of the brine, which in turn helps the lactic acid bacteria take over and preserve the vegetables. THE RICH REWARDS INHERENT IN NATURE! The unique process of fermenting vegetables using lactic acid bacteria, which has been used for thousands of years, allows Britt’s Pickles to retain the rich rewards of the natural enzymes and vitamins in vegetables, even in the middle of winter. Natural fermentation interacts with the sugars in the cucumbers, garlic, and spices, transforming them into lactic acid & CO2. A LIVE CULTURE FOOD THAT IS FULL OF PROBIOTIC ACTIVITY!

In 1911, Jack Amon came to America and began selling fine seafood from a stand in Seattle's world-famous Pike Place Public Market. The city and the market were young, but all of the new residents immediately recognized the value of the local fish and shellfish. Jack Amon traded in the best of the best. Now Jack's son, Sol, runs the business, with the help of their tireless crew. It is still a single long counter in the Pike Place Market, but the Pure Food Fish Market now sells more seafood than Jack Amon ever dreamed. The beginning of fast commercial air travel has given people everywhere the chance to enjoy fresh seafood from the Pure Food Fish Market. Keep in mind, we are a REAL fish market, you can buy online, or right here at our counter in Pike Place Market, we are not a brokerage, or multi-national corporation ... we just sell fish, 7 days a week and it is the best and freshest you can find ANYWHERE. We are located in the heart of downtown Seattle and the famous Pike Place Public Market. Anyone who’s visited Washington State knows that Seattle is the place for seafood. Tourists and locals alike come to the Pike Place Public Market to buy fresh seafood from the Pure Food Fish Market, Seattle’s most popular seafood retailer. Our family has been down at the market for four generations stocking an abundant assortment of fresh seafood from around the world but specializing in the seafood from the Pacific Northwest. If you think our website is something, you should visit our Pike Place Location in Seattle. Come say hello to Sol, Harry, Richard, Matt, Chris, Jeff, Mitchell, Neal, Josh, Isaac and the guys. FitFoods4U Seattle is a new way to get fresh meals, conveniently and at an affordable price. Prepped twice a week in a local Seattle kitchen, these fresh never frozen meals pack all the nutrients you'll need to stay energized and healthy. With a "back to basics" approach we combine lean proteins, complex carbs and fresh vegetables in flavorful ways that anyone will love. FitFoods4U began in 2009 in Denver with one man: Ricky Sosias. Ricky, a personal trainer, nutrition coach and national competitive body builder noticed what many trainers have, his clients were working their tails off in the gym and still not getting the results they wanted. His clients were still eating the wrong foods in the wrong amounts, or didn’t have enough time to prepare food properly. When it came down to it, most people had no time and lacked the specialized skills to cook for themselves. He started with just one client and now produces hundreds of meals a week, helping many people and families eat healthy foods, fueling their efforts to reach their goals of health and wellness. FitFoods4U also provides meals for the Denver Nuggets and Denver Broncos. Rick Sosias’ life’s passion has always been to help people. His simple principle: “Fuel the Body and Watch the Soul Flourish.” In 2014 Ricky reached out to two friends in Seattle -- Justin Wade and Zachary Chenoweth-- and asked if they thought this was something the city needed. Justin, a fitness coach and weight loss specialist, and Zac, a career chef, joined together to bring Seattle this proven recipe for success. Seattle is blanketed with restaurants, take-out options and unhealthy food. FitFoods4U Seattle is not just another dining or take out option, but completes a healthy lifestyle. It is for the individual who wants to look better, reach their fitness goals, have more energy and eat fresh, delicious nutrient dense food. We want you to have nutritious, satisfying meals, that leave you feeling good. Take advantage of our proven track record and make healthy eating a reality in your life.
In 1994, master sushi chef, Shiro Kashiba, opened his namesake, Shiro’s Sushi Restaurant, in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood. His blending of classical Japanese technique with the Pacific Northwest’s wealth of local seafood and ingredients set the bar that others aspire to. In 2014, after an amazing 20-year run, Chef Kashiba handed over the renowned restaurant to a capable culinary team lead by Chef Jun Takai who carries forth the restaurant legacy and expands the pursuit of artisan sushi craftsmanship by way of advanced training and culinary experiences.
